The picture is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say Samsung makes a great TV the picture is the best, I use my Samsung for everything from watching movies in surround sound to streaming and using it as a monitor for my Mac book pro like I said the picture is the best I wouldn’t settle for anything less and with all the features it comes with who could ask for anything more. If you don’t believe me go see one for your self and you will come home with one.

Great picture, but poor panning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture is sharp and bright, but when the content is a slow panning panorama the picture becomes jerky and updates in hesitant jumps instead of smoothly panning. This is a problem with the tv’s internal video processing. If you watch a lot of travelogues or nature films, this is not the tv for you.

Thank you for choosing the Samsung Q80A TV and for sharing your feedback regarding your image quality. For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
- Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
- Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

To ensure that your TV’s picture is optimized, please also be sure that you are always running the latest firmware update. You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update or you can enable Auto Update for convenience.

Don't know anything about this new tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has a smart TV I've used b4 for UTube, Tubi, etc....I really was impressed with the quality of the TV its self, but didn't like that you could only stream if u had wifi for the features...

Awesome tv everything is built in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is awesome I like that everything is built in no need for streaming devices or sticks but you can plug them in if you need to.
The picture quality is amazing crystal clear the sound is crisp I dont think I will need a soundbar.
This tv is HUGE we went from a 52 inch to an 85 inch HOLY COW what a difference
buy this tv you will not regret it.

Good bang for your buck.

Good for your first tv or if you have no real reference of uhd.
Definitely better than your old 1080p.
But, to me I just don't feel like it's bright enough at times. I've never had the brightness at max on any tv before, and this one has been on max since I opened it and is still really dark in dark scenes.
But, even then still watchable cause it's so huge.
So. Overall. 8/10.
10/10 if you are switching from 1080p.
4/10 though if you can afford to she'll out on a higher class model of Samsung, or wait until 8k goes live.
