[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Samsung TV. The colors are beautiful and sound is amazing. I also have a Samsung phone and tablet so I like how they play together. It has all the apps you may need and some you may not have known you need. In the second part I include SmartThings. You can control your light and smart stuff with this TV. The remote is great and easy to recharge. You can do that with USB like phones or solar. All in all it is a great all around TV that looks great. We use the TV for sports, movies, TV shows and showing off our family pictures. We really love using this TV to show off family vacation pictures to our friends when they stop over. The pictures look amazing on this TV. We also enjoy movie nights, local dimming makes this TV a joy for that. The motion of sports did not affect the quality of the pictures this TV provides. All sports looked very good. This is a great all around TV. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Samsung Hits It Out of the Park Again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box I was immediately impressed with the quality of the television, The Q80A comes to play with incredible picture quality, I’ve been playing next gen video games and watching action movies constantly. I’ve had exactly 0 issues the refresh rate keeps up with every game and movie I’ve watched. I forgot just how bright Samsung TVs are and the Q80A takes brightness to another level.
I’ve been nothing but impressed by the overall quality of this product, I was shocked by just how much I’ve enjoyed the Q80A, the most surprising part of my experience at this point is the sound. The Q80A has outstanding sound quality, this outperforms ever LED or OLED television I’ve ever owned in the sound department. I would absolutely recommend this television to everyone. Samsung brings the quality you expect on this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 55” Class Q80A QLED 4K TV is great! Right out of the box, this TV is sexy. Sleek, thin, edge to edge LED screen, and a finger-print resistant matte finish on the back. I mounted this TV on the wall, but the stand is a very sturdy one, and attaches to a heavy-duty steel plate. They aren't messing around with the stability of this. From unboxing to set-up, everything was a breeze. AND the SOLAR POWERED remote (yes, you heard that right, solar-powered) works like a charm! Simple, small, and yet with everything you need. As soon as you turn on the TV, you fly though the set-up. It makes connecting all your extra devices, and accounts super easy, and right there as part of the initial set-up. This means you don't have to go searching around for things later to try and get your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime accounts, etc., set-up later. You have plenty of pre-set options for display, as is typical with these newer flat-screen TVs. For example, cinema mode, game mode, and standard. However, Samsung makes it very easy to go through and tweak and adjust picture settings, and quality, to exactly like you want it. There is also a mode that you can set to have the picture and sound automatically adjust depending on ambient light and noise. We tried this out, and found it to work fantastic. Commercial sound levels can finally be at the same level as the show you were watching...
The Samsung 55” Class Q80A QLED 4K TV has 4 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, a LAN and an optical digital port. Enough for all your robust gaming, blu-ray, and video streaming devices.
The sound on this TV is the best I have ever had in a TV. The sound follows around the room depending on what is happening on the TV. THe background noises, for example a car, will be stereo and helps to immerse you in whatever movie or TV show you might be enjoying. No need for a soundbar with this TV to help enhance the quality - it's great right out of the box. And just like anything, Samsung allows you to customize this for your trebles, mids and bass.
The picture quality on this TV is amazing. The 4k quality is fantastic. Some TVs get grainy the close you get, even though claiming to be 4k quality. Not Samsung - sharp, crisp and clear all around, and from every angle.
All in all, this is now my new favorite TV. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants a high quality, in both sound and picture, smart TV. Well done, Samsung!

Best QLED TV from Samsung

Its super sleek bezels are definitely noticeable. My unboxing experience was stunning and was spellbound by the simplistic design.

The setup of the Device was simple. This is because of the simplistic design of tv package. small things like box opening handles and the accessories placement were clearly planned well placed.
Coming to the TV, It has a stunning 4K resolution with a 120hz display. I have used multiple Samsung TVs over few years and I can definitely see a difference in the screen resolution and the content playing. I tried using apps like Youtube and Netflix, and they are well optimized for the TV. This Tv has 4 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports and an ethernet port for direct line internet connectivity(must for a 4k streaming experience). I didn't see any lags in the tv functionality and the initial setup was very easy.
Worth mentioning feature/accessory of this TV is the remote. This is not like any other remote I have seen in a while. This has a USB-C charging port and doesn't need batteries. additionally, this remote charges using mini solar panels that are planed in the back of the remote. They work on the ambient light in the room to charge the remote. Pretty cool stuff.
Another thing to mention is the inbuilt audio was okay and can be better. the audio becomes too squeaky when turned up. we are using this tv in a 550 sqft room and the audio is not too loud. although a Samsung soundbar can fix this problem.

Amazing TV and Solar Remote, Say What?!?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally in love with the Samsung Q80A. We use the 55" as a bedroom TV but this is our favorite set in the house. We do have the Q90A in our living room, but I honestly like the Q80A more! The picture is crystal clear with vibrant colors and the sound is phenomenal, even without a soundbar. And can we talk about this solar remote?!?!? Forget about buying batteries and dead remotes. And if your remote is in an area that doesn't get much sun, not to worry because it has a USB-C port if needed. Great TV from a great manufacturer doing their part to reduce plastic waste.

Excellent combination of technology and intuitive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This yet another excellent TV by Samsung with the right combination of technology and an intuitive user interface to cover your display needs for next decade. The 4k display with Quantum Processor is amazing. All of sudden everything you see is in 4k resolution even though it is not broadcasted such. My phone recorded 4k video looks amazingly clear and so much better. View from any angle looks the same without any color change or degraded quality. Sound on TV is very impressive, specially that moves with the object on screen. Watching fast and furious on tv was such an impressive experience. One would not need a sound bar or surround sound system with this tv, it does provide very impressive sound effects on its own. Color and contrast is such a treat for the eyes and picture quality is amazing under any room lighting condition, be it day or night lights. I loved how thin and light weight the TV is with extremely thin bezel.
I am so impressed by the intuitive user interface of the tv and easy of integration with my smart devices in the house. Setting this TV was so much fun and easy. I was done with all the necessary customization and setup in like 15 min and was actually enjoying the view and colors. TV immediately prompted me to enter wifi details on first time startup and once that was done the smart device integration was cake walk. Ambient mode allows, to use the TV as picture frame in the house. Ambient mode has so many more feature and themes along with clock and weather for your location. SmartThings integration with Samsung products, Multi-view with connectivity from Samsung phone are so impressive. Ease of connecting you laptop (PC or Mac) to the tv without any wires , over the air (wifi), is amazing and child’s play. Finally, the solar charging remote control with universal remote capabilities works out of the box with so many devices and integration with Philip DVD player or Bose system is the simplest I have seen for any universal remote. Such an impressive TV and can’t stop sharing details with friends and family.

Smart and bright like no other

Samsung promise 100% Color Volume like in cinema with their Quantum HDR 12X and they deliver. Movies feel more real and alive, sport broadcasts are much more enjoyable on this screen compare to other high end TV's I used before.
I have a very bright living room during the day and having problem with TV's that don't get bright enough but this TV is so bright that I can see every detail in the picture even during sunny day.
Sound is also one of this model best feature - the TV knows to optimized the sound based on the environment and where I installed the TV. The TV deliver 3D audio with sound that tracks objects as they move on screen and make the watching experience more much enjoyable.
One of the most valuable features for this TV it's smart capability, I set up the TV from my phone! it was so easy and quick, I can control my TV from my phone and via google assistant - I don't think I will ever use it's remote control again :)

Samsung did it again! Awesome TV

Our Tv finally arrived and was well packed. Taking off the box was easy. Just need 2 people from each corner and slide the box off after removing the string.
Found the manual and it's an easy setup.
We kept the TV panel which was so lean and lightweight kept it on the mattress and fixed the stand. Then we made the panel stand on the panel and tighten the screws.
It has a power cable, remote, and stand with screws. The manual is pretty easy to understand and set up.
This remote is no ordinary remote. It has advanced features like self-charging using a solar panel and doesn’t need batteries. if you have no light also no problem you can charge it with USB.
The screen looks so stunning, lean, and crisp.
We turn on the TV and it asked for a Samsung account to start setting up everything. It got automatically connected with our Samsung soundbar too.
we tried out the volume for the TV as well, I think it sounds good by itself as well.
Navigation throughout the TV and installation of the apps were super simple
The picture quality of the TV is bright and clear. Connectivity was easy. Wifi and cable connectivity are available.
The tv modes such as Game mode, ambient mode, movie mode make a lot of difference when changed.
I am enjoying my movies, binge-watching series again.
