Great slow cooker for a single guy, I don’t have the time to prepare great meals, so I usually eat out, but with this slow cooker I can prepare pot roast, chili, stew, and even a desert without mush effort, the prep time is minimal, and like magic, the slow cooker dose the rest, I never realized how this Cuisinart slow cooker made meals so easily to prepare, I should have invested in this cuisinart slow cooker imstead of trying some off brands that just don’t measure up to the Cuisinart. And the programmable feature is fantastic, Cuisinart makes cooking Easy and enjoyable, without sacrificing delicious meals.

The perfect size for 1-3. I made a 3 lb. pork roast with potatoes and carrots and it cooked perfectly. I love that it goes to the warm setting automatically to keep the food warm.

It is not easy to use. The first thing I tried to cook were baby ribs, after eight hours of cooking still turn out to be half done. Same baby ribs I always cooked in the regular oven, they do not take more than two hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The smaller size / weight is easier for me to manage, but it is still large enough to prepare meal for a family. I absolutely love the programmable feature! My old slow cooker didn't have that so many times my food was overcooked. This unit seems to be well constructed so I plan on using it for many years to come. A great slow cooker at a good price.

This is a really nice slow cooker! I love the 4 different temperature settings and that you can cook on low without it being boiling hot, unlike most others. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I received an imperfect crock. The ceramic insert I received has a few bad spots in the coating and/or pot itself. I'm concerned about it failing over time, but so far it's holding up. This unit was bought to replace a broken crock insert since it was almost as expensive to buy just the replacement insert. The insert in the first one was perfect, so I'm really bummed I received an imperfect one the second time, but didn't feel like going through the process to return it and order another one so I'm hoping it lasts. The first one was accidentally broken, it did not break because of anything wrong with it.
