Although I have used the slow cooker only three times since we bought it, I know that it will become one of my most-used appliances. Because I am 75, I get a bit tired in the evenings. With the slow cooker I can make dinner in the morning and forget about it until it is time to eat. This appliance allows me to have a more leisurely evening with my husband. We are vegetarian, and finding suitable recipes online was difficult, so I bought two vegetarian slow cooker cook books.
