great sound, cool lights!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the speaker has great sound, nice and crisp fills the room. the lighting feature is great, it changes color with a button press and is selectable for any color and looks cool in the dark. set up was easy to connect my phone via Bluetooth but I didn't like how I had to set up and download the app for it to be fully used, basically you have to register the device in the app. it comes with a charging cable and is waterproof, the charge ports are sealed with a rubber flap for protection. the speaker can be used either horizontal or vertical.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking into getting a blue tooth speaker when we go camping. This speaker has great sound that fills the area. The music is crisp and the lighting associated with the speaker is great, especially at night. The speaker was very easy to set up with the app and worked great with my iPhone. I love the fact that it is waterproof because in the summer we are always by water and sometimes there is a pop up shower and I don't have to worry about the speaker. The charging ports are actually sealed with a rubber flap for protection. Great speaker, great sound, and very easy to set up and use.

The speaker has anti microbial properties, it is waterproof and will even float in water. The sound is crystal clear and makes singing and dancing in the shower fun. It has Bluetooth that connects to any electronic device to access your music. It has 16 hours of playtime before you need to charge it. It also includes wireless Qi charging for your phone. You just place your phone on top of the speaker to charge.

Pretty large/heavy but great sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be perfect for a backyard or outside the camper on vacation but it’s larger than I thought (about 10” long) and much heavier than I anticipated. Definitely not the type of speaker you’d bring with you on a float down the river (if you’re from New England, you’ll understand). The sound quality is everything I expected from Altec Lasing, and more! The light feature is cool but I don’t use it, just based on preference. You can also charge your phone with this! If this was a little bit lighter, I’d have given it 5 stars. Overall, it’s a high quality, solid, awesome speaker!

Fun & practical! Phone charging feature is plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second speaker from Altec with “everythingproof” protection. This one is much bigger, yet light and portable, and has several features that make it optimal for outdoor/indoor gatherings. It not only serves as a Bluetooth speaker, but readily charges your phone wirelessly or via USB. It came charged, yet I charged it further since I did not know how much charge was left. This is one of two flaws that I experienced with this speaker. The second is that the battery life is not the up to 20 hours claimed. At best, it is half of that. Yet there are factors that affect this, such as if the lights feature is utilized, the volume and if you are also charging your phone. Nevertheless, it does charge rather quickly. We have used it various times since I got it and it has become our new outdoor speaker when engaging in outdoor activities, such as gardening, at the park and by the spa. Its waterproof feature is excellent. We had it floating in our spa and it still worked the following day. It has a rubber flap that seals the ports and adds another layer of protection against the elements. I was quickly able to pair to Bluetooth and had it playing our favorite tunes within a couple of minutes. It is important to note that the power button has to be pressed and held to turn on/off. We are eager to take it to the beach this weekend. We are very confident that its outdoor elements proofing will work superbly! It is a great speaker to take camping, the pool, tubing at the late and more. Lastly, the music is crisp and audible and the variety of light settings is a fun addition to use at gatherings. Our favorite is the lights that change to the beat of the music. This would make a great gift during this time of the year for graduates as they will venture off to vacation with friends or college dorms!
