Bought these on sale. Noise cancelation is great, audio quality is fantastic. I accidentally ran them through a full wash/dry laundry cycle because I forgot to take them out of my pocket. Seems like the microphone took a hit, but otherwise they're still working perfectly. I'm very impressed

Mixed because of a few things. My jbl bluetooth speakers have been amazing in the past, so I figured id try the beam 2s. Have have had the headphones for about 4 months.
I will start with the good. They sound good, charge fast and have multiple charges from the case. They Generally last all day.
Now the bad. From the start the ANC being on by default everytime you connect to the headphones is a massive oversight software wise. I could have missed the change for the setting, but support told me theres no change so I dont know. I did configure the tap controls to turn that off, but I have to so that every time I use them or go into range of another device paired. Its really annoying when you are working on something with your hands then you have random hissing in your ear. After a month I just got into the habit of tapping them every time I turn them on.
But next was the hardware. After a few months the connection with the pads in the case that charge the pods started making poor contact. Because of this they randomly connect to my phone. Watching a video or showing something to someone? Poof there goes your sound. Gotta go into my setting and disconnect them now. Also, they will just be dead when I go to use them. Its like death from a thousand cuts. Not bad if it was occasional, but this happens multiple times a day. I can't rma them because my kid lost one so I haven't bothered. I did try bending copper contacts out alil to make better contact but that only worked for about a day.
Overall I've just had a better experience with cheaper product

Washing machine proof?

Works great, minor case issue

The tap left/tap right instructions are clear, everything works. The noise cancelling makes podcast listening in a noisy mall work much better. Maybe this is a septuagenarian issue -- the case won't open farther than vertical, and it's difficult -- not enough room for fingers -- to get a grip on the buds to simply pull them out of the case. They won't fall out when the case is turned upside down. Us oldsters lose fingerprint definition and skin oils diminish, and not being able to get a good grip seems impossible, but there you are. It's small issue, they're great, it would help to have a friendlier case.

I love JBL’s line of speakers, headphones and earbuds. I used to be strictly Bose or Apple but honestly, JBL is playing with the big dogs. I can’t say anything negative about the earbuds I purchased.

Unfortunately unusable for me

The sound is good, and the gestures work delightfully well. The fit isn't very good, you really have to wiggle them in to get it right. The biggest problem is that when anything - such as long hair, bigger earrings, a hat or a scarf - touches the surface of the earphones, it makes an unbearable sound right in your ear and this makes these unusable for me in the winter. And the winter here lasts for five months. Haven't had this problem before, I'm guessing it's the finishing of the plastic.
