Great for hot mix on the course

I was drunk and gave my old jbl slip 5 to some old man on the golf course. Bought the flip 7 and it’s pretty legit. Great sound and bass. Battery life is solid too. Highly recommended

I recently bought the JBL flip 7, and I have to say I'm super impressed by the sound quality. It is defintely a step up from the Flip 5 and 6 that I owned. However the only downside is the battery life defintely seems noticeably worse. It is still a somewhat reasonable length of time per charge, but unfortunate that it isn't as long as the previous generations!

Does not sync with other flips

The Flip 7 does not sync with Flip 6 or Flip 5. It is not clearly stated in the product specs.

We appreciate your feedback. Our JBL Flip 7 isn't compatible with the JBL Flip 6 and JBL Flip 5 for connecting or syncing. Our JBL Flip 7 features Auracast, while the JBL Flip 6 and JBL Flip 5 use the JBL PartyBoost feature. These two features are not compatible, meaning you won’t be able to link the speakers for synchronized playback. To connect multiple JBL speakers with the JBL Flip 7, they must support the same feature, such as the JBL Charge 6, Xtreme 4, Clip 5, or Go 4, which support Auracast feature.
