The bed is decently constructed but there are lots of issues with the finish as well as some really annoying things about the instructions — identification stickers haphazardly placed that are impossible to remove without damaging the already poor finish, multiple hardware types in one bag including ones that are super similar, etc.
Good value for a hack but not worth it if you want a perfect piece of furniture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
