Screen scratched easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never reviewed a Galaxy phone but I've been using the since the S4 or earlier. I really like everything about the phone but...
I have never had a phone screen scratch as quickly and easily as this one. There is even a small ding that catches my fingernail and I have no idea how it got there.
A great phone, but what's up with the glass?
