Hello Couldbebetter,
We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the New Samsung HW-QS700F Soundbar.
If you leave the soundbar on a different source (e.g., HDMI), it may not auto-switch back to Bluetooth.
Make sure you leave it on the Bluetooth source before turning off the TV.
If available, we recommend using the HDMI connection to your TV.
Connecting your soundbar to a TV through HDMI will provide the best audio and user experience, often eliminating any connection or delay issues you may be experiencing. There are 2 ways to connect your soundbar with HDMI: you can connect a device to your soundbar (like a Blu-ray player) and then connect the soundbar to the TV, or you can use HDMI ARC. The first method will give you the best possible sound from external devices you regularly use. ARC is the way to go if you want great sound from streaming apps on your TV and a soundbar.

Awesome sound - wonky connectivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the sound bar when I got the new Frame TV. The sound on the bar is crazy good. It actually fills the room with amazing separation and very high quality frequency range.
I connected the bar via WiFi to the frame tv and it sounded fantastic. I must say, however, make sure you connect your devices to a 2.4 wireless connection and not the 5.0. The WiFi connection will not work correctly if you set your devices to 5.0 WiFi.
I’ve also got the Samsung Music Frames to compliment the sound bar. The added devices have obsoleted my existing main sound system for good.
The auto on of the sound devices was not reliable and I had to go to each device to turn them on each time I wanted to enable them to my TV. I’ve set all of the audio devices to remain on and not auto-off to keep them in hot standby.
Overall - the audio devices sound great and I’ve figured workarounds to the wonky connection issues. I’d highly recommend them if you want huge sound without the spaghetti of wires to connect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Soundbar HW-QS700F is a stellar choice for anyone seeking a cinematic audio experience at home. One of its standout features is the exceptional sound quality, which delivers rich and full-bodied audio. The sound bar's ability to produce clear dialogue and deep bass enhances the viewing experience, making movies and music feel immersive and vibrant. Its surround sound capabilities, powered by Samsung's Acoustic Beam technology, create a dynamic audio environment that fills the room, offering a sense of spatial awareness that many soundbars in its range struggle to achieve.
In terms of design, the HW-QS700F is sleek and well-constructed, easily complementing any home entertainment setup. It’s also user-friendly, with intuitive controls and seamless connectivity options, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for easy integration with other devices. My personal experience with the soundbar has been highly satisfactory; it’s particularly impressive how the sound adapts when switching from action-packed scenes to quieter dialogues. Overall, this soundbar offers impressive value for its price, combining superior audio performance with a sleek design, making it a must-have for audiophiles and movie enthusiasts alike.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung Q-Series Soundbar HW-QS700F/ZA and I’m honestly impressed by how much it has elevated my home entertainment experience. The setup was quick and simple. it was connected to my TV and ready to go. I appreciate that it doesn’t take up a lot of space but still delivers powerful, immersive sound. The True 3.1.2ch sound really makes a difference,it gives a more dimensional audio experience that makes action scenes more thrilling and even quiet moments more engaging.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Major Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very overdue for an upgrade and, wow, what an upgrade this is over my old Samsung soundbar. My first impression after opening the box was that this thing is massive in comparison with other soundbars I've had in the past. Not only is it large, but it's also very heavy; So heavy that I didnt feel comfortable mounting it directly to the TV like I had done with my old soundbar. I appreciate the heavy-duty wall mount that's included and may mount it to the wall at some point; But for now, it looks great sitting on top of my TV console. The subwoofer is quite a bit smaller than expected but this just means it's easier to hide. I like a clean look so I don't like a massive subwoofer sitting out on the floor. The smaller size makes it easier to hide and, being wireless, I can put this anywhere I please in the living room where an electrical outlet is available. I decided to set up the subwoofer beside my couch where it tucked in nicely out of sight. After plugging everything in and attempting to test it out, I realized that the soundbar wasn't automatically paired. After a quick review of the set-up guide and a few minutes, it was paired and was ready to be tested. I also took this opportunity to connect the soundbar to Smart Things after it was mentioned in the guide. I found it very simple to pair the subwoofer and set up in Smart Things. My first impression of the audio quality was simply "Wow." I realized what I had been missing with my mid-grade 7 year old soundbar. I'm impressed with the amount of options in Smart Things and it was simple to adjust the sound mode, subwoofer, and channels to my liking. DTS Virtual:X sound mode with shows and movies gives the illusion of having true surround sound. Voices are much clearer and I don't find myself adjusting the volume up and down throughout shows and movies like I used to with my old soundbar. It sounds as though I have multiple speakers in each corner of the room. I'm extremely impressed with the sound quality of both the soundbar and the subwoofer. Music is just as impressive coming out of this soundbar. I can connect either via Bluetooth or cast audio through my WiFi network just as I would a smart speaker or smart home device. I love having the option to cast without connecting via Bluetooth. There's also an option to tap the speaker with my phone to connect which is a neat feature. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the soundbar and can say nothing negative about it. I can't recommend it enough
