I wanted to love it, underwhelmed but still cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea behind this is cute. I wanted to love it. It would be perfect for my horse loving girl niece. But it just wasn’t that fun to play with. The heart pegs limited the way you could place the accessories. The rubber skirt was too difficult to take on and off of the horse, especially for little fingers and the one I received is already cracked out of the package. The inside of the toy super cute to look at, but also disappointing. Maybe because I played with Polly pockets as a girl, the mechanisms are a little rough and most things just move back-and-forth with a finger there’s no knob or dials. The accessories painted with the exception of Polly pocket. The only other comment I have is that the horses look like Polly should be able to ride on them and instead she kind of stands on the saddle, which is OK. Still kept her busy for a good half hour but it’s been sitting on the shelf since.

Not the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three year old daughter enjoyed this toy for about 30 minutes. The Polly pocket contains a large number of small pieces, which I think didn’t inspire true creative play. Decorating the outside of the Polly pocket was also not an exciting prospect for my kiddos. Well-made, cute ponies, but not a very fun toy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect on-the-go toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this Polly Pocket Pony Rodeo Compact Playset! She loves horses and dolls so this was a great find. It comes with two horses, a doll, some flowers, carrots, a trophy, a ribbon and a balloon. This toy was designed to be fun and functional, even though the pieces are small, there are holes on the bottom of the pieces that easily mount onto corresponding pegs in various places inside the compact. The little skirt on the outside of the horse compact holds it closed so you don't lose the little pieces. It also comes with a hat and an apple that fit into various spots on the outside of the compact and gives my daughter something to play with even with the compact is closed. We have taken this Polly Pocket to restaurants, her grandmother's house and she has played with it in the car and at home. My four year old daughter has been playing with this toy for weeks and miraculously hasn't lost a single piece! I highly recommend this toy and have even bought it for one of her friend's birthdays.

Very cute Rodeo scenes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Daughter enjoyed this Polly Pocket set. It had lots of accessories to act out the Rodeo scenes, like horses, award ribbon, balloons and food. The set came with Polly, but I wish she had another friend as well as Polly was "lonely" a lot at the rodeo according to my daughter. Overall its a great set that's portable and compact and makes it easy to take on the go!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect solution to little parts!

We have several of these, and they are the perfect solution. They travel great! And keep all the parts to each set together! Plus they are just so stinking cute!

Fun equestrian themed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Polly pocket is a horse lover’s dream! There are many small parts which keep the kids interested. The horses fit in perfectly and you can pick a winner. There’s a skirt that goes around that can keep it shut. It’s a cute theme that I think a lot of girls will enjoy!
