Makes a huge difference in posture and foot/leg/back fatigue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a public school teacher, I spend a lot of time walking around the room, so when the time allows for me to take a seat, sitting properly is a must. The absolute best feature of this footrest is the rocking capabilities - which is completely optional and you can decide as you slide in the section to allow it to rock or to be stable. It allows my feet and legs to move a bit to get more comfortable. In schools we are given chairs/desks - with zero thought to whether or not they are ergonomically suited for each of us. We just smile and say thank you and be grateful that we even have a chair and desk. So the guide showed me how to achieve proper posture that was included with the foot rest, showed me how to set up my chair and then place my footrest for proper alignment. If there was one area that needs improvement it's this: the underside of the footrest that is closest to you should be rounded. Why you might ask? We start back to school the first week of August - so I wear sandals. Too many times, while I was getting used to the footrest, my foot would accidentally slide underneath the front lip - which gave my feet some pretty bad scrapes because the underside just stops and is very rough. So if that front edge were to be slightly curved under, I wouldn't have been scratched at all. I was able to file it down a bit so it's smoother, and once my foot motion got used to it, and if I remember, I lift my feet up first before scooting in. But there are still times I forget. So that simple fix of rounding the front edge would eliminate that. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Excellent under desk stool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a teacher and have found this stool very helpful at my desk. Being able to put my feet up on a stool helps me to sit properly and it's very sturdy. My sole complaint is that it tends to slide on a tile floor, so would love to see non-slip added to the bottom of it, but otherwise it's perfect for my needs. (I received this item free to try in exchange for an honest review)

Nice foot rest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Breyta Footrest through Stellar Product Testing Panel recently and was pleasantly surprised. I had been using a stool left behind by one of my coworkers but found that it was too tall and would move around every time I put my feet on it. I sit for extended periods of time so being able to prop up my legs is necessary for my comfort at work. The Breyta is very sleek and low profile but is tall enough to get my legs off the chair. My favorite detail is that it was rubber on the bottom which keeps it from sliding around, even when I push on it to scoot out of my desk. The footrest is lightweight and can also be taken apart to put away when not in use or if you ever need to take it home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rocking feature of this footrest is a dream for those of us who need to fidget when we're sitting at a desk. The footrest legs can be stored beneath the body for a shorter height rest, or attached to the edges for a higher rest, or flipped over at the edges for rocking mode--which is the best! The footrest helps with posture and the rocking capability encourages movement and satisfies my need to fidget without producing noise. I like the grippy feet that prevent slipping and that the legs store directly on body of the footrest so there are no accessories to keep track of. I like the texture across the top that keeps my slippery shoes from sliding off. It's well made and I love that it's recyclable. I received the Breyta footrest through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I've used it every day since it arrived. I use it mostly at my desk, but it's also really comfortable to use when sitting on the couch.

Must have office accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an absolute game changer the Fellowes Breyta Foot Rest has been for me. This was an office accessory I never knew I needed, but now, couldn’t imagine going without it. Coming from someone who is not only sitting at a desk most of the day for work, but also for fun, I mean it when I say this footrest is an absolute must have. For starters, I love how nice it looks. It’s black, which matches my computer/desk set up perfectly and not bulky or odd looking at all. Love that there are 3 height options with my favorite being the added height with rocking feature. My feet and legs get so tired and antsy throughout the day. With the rocking feature, I’ve found myself using it so frequently, I hardly have to get up and walk around. I have noticed a huge improvement in my posture especially, which in turn has helped my back pain tremendously. It’s almost impossible to not have good posture while using the footrest. I should’ve been using this a long time ago as I feel it would’ve prevented me from ever having bad posture as now I know what correct posture feels like. I’m sure being more comfortable plays a large part in this but I truly feel much more productive and focused when using the footrest. I’ve noticed myself wanting that same posture and focus, even while sitting at the couch, so I appreciate that the footrest is portable. Who knew such a simple office accessory would make a world of difference. I’m so glad it is so sturdy and durable because I’m going to need it to last a very long time. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this amazing office accessory.

I suffer from low back issues and work as a computer programmer, so I’m sitting a lot during the day. The quality & versatility of this footrest was appealing. I liked the different position it offered. That being said, it gave me no pain relief, I felt like it got in my way more than anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
