Sleek comfort and design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never used a footrest while sitting at a desk or working on a computer before and I don't know why it took this long! I change positions a lot from crossing my legs to sitting on my feet and then I tend to cut off circulation to one of my legs, so I've benefited immensely from this footrest. It gives your feet somewhere to rest with comfort and support, in addition to the rocking feature, which promotes circulation. It has an adjustable height, so you can decide how bent or straight you would like your knees, and it's quick and easy to adjust. I don't own any other footrests, but from what I've seen it appears to be more sleek and less bulky than others on the market. It's easy to transport if you need to store it somewhere when not in use or you can push it under the desk to keep it out of sight. I spend probably 75% of my work at a desk, so I get a lot of use out of this footrest and it's held up really well the last few weeks of use. My only con would be the size of the footrest, I would prefer a small platform for myself, and wish it came in different sizes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5'4" and often feel the pains of sitting at a desk on my lower thighs. I've used tricks around my office such as stacked books or one of the kiddos step stools but they aren't ideal or slip and move. This is the perfect solution. The design and simple and subtle. It's just there, doing its awesome job. I have no doubt it will last my lifetime. Very sturdy and has decent weight.
I use this in my office at my desk mainly but I've also toted it to the couch (which is also too high for this shorty) and had a much better experience on a recent snow day watching movies with the kids. Ergonomics are important guys!
What I like about the Breyta Footrest is my hips in addition to my legs are getting the proper circulation they need and do not ache! Very thankful!

Posture Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Posture power! I have been looking for a product to help me with my long desk hours. I run a small ministry out of my home and I home school four littles. We live in Monterey CA and are always busy. I am constantly looking for ways to improve. I’ve notice that I have been slouching more and more at my desk and this foot rest has really helped me be conscientious of my posture. Its presence alone is enough to remind me to sit up straight. Another thing is that, though I’m only 34, I have old achy knees and I can tell already that this product is going to help with my knee pain. Thank you to the Stellar Testing Panel for providing me with this much needed product. I am super grateful.

Office foot rest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this office accessory. The footrest is an exceptional concept with some flaws. I used this footrest at my kitchen table where I work on my laptop during the day. The quality of the footrest is amazing, it is extremely sturdy and pleasing to the eye. However there was an extremely odd and obnoxious smell coming off of it. The footrest offers three different modes to rest your feet on. Using the risers to lift the footrest up felt good at first but quickly became uncomfortable to me causing hip discomfort. The risers do easily come out in order to store or flip them over for rocking mode. Unfortunately the rocking mode was quite uncomfortable as well. I felt the same hip discomfort and the rocking motion did not seem natural. I finally easily popped out the risers again and tried the footrest with no risers at all. It was very comfortable at that point. My hips felt good and I felt as if there was less pressure on my back. After one hour of use all still felt good. When I was done with work I placed the risers back into the bottom of the footrest with ease. This option makes a simple way to store the risers when not in use. Overall it was a good product with a great design.

Fidget Friendly Footrest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look and design of the footrest is well thought out. I have been using this at work for a couple of weeks now and it has become a hot commodity at the front desk and my coworkers keep trying to steal it, too. The design allows enough pressure to be taken off from my hips and provides relief from lower back strain. I appreciate that the grooves run diagonal and fashioned using a wavier design so that my shoes do not slip off. The removable foot pieces designed for rocking are probably my favorite feature, as I am super fidgety and tend to bounce my knees or shake my feet! With this said, if the rocking feature doesn't suit you, the footrest has built in storage for the removable feet right under the platform. This item was well-made and sturdy, and feels as though it could last a lifetime. The only negative I have is the size of the product. It is quite large, which makes me unable to push my chair all the way under the desk; thus, creating a tripping hazard for myself and my coworkers since we all share the same work station. I would recommend keeping the footrest width, as it allows proper hip alignment from the body, but would consider shortening length from front to back of the platform by a couple of inches. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this. I got this sent to me from Stellar Product Testing. I suffer from low back issues and work as a computer programmer, so I’m sitting a lot during the day. The quality & versatility of this footrest was appealing. I liked the different position it offered. That being said, it gave me no pain relief, I felt like it got in my way more than anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Must have office accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an absolute game changer the Fellowes Breyta Foot Rest has been for me. This was an office accessory I never knew I needed, but now, couldn’t imagine going without it. Coming from someone who is not only sitting at a desk most of the day for work, but also for fun, I mean it when I say this footrest is an absolute must have. For starters, I love how nice it looks. It’s black, which matches my computer/desk set up perfectly and not bulky or odd looking at all. Love that there are 3 height options with my favorite being the added height with rocking feature. My feet and legs get so tired and antsy throughout the day. With the rocking feature, I’ve found myself using it so frequently, I hardly have to get up and walk around. I have noticed a huge improvement in my posture especially, which in turn has helped my back pain tremendously. It’s almost impossible to not have good posture while using the footrest. I should’ve been using this a long time ago as I feel it would’ve prevented me from ever having bad posture as now I know what correct posture feels like. I’m sure being more comfortable plays a large part in this but I truly feel much more productive and focused when using the footrest. I’ve noticed myself wanting that same posture and focus, even while sitting at the couch, so I appreciate that the footrest is portable. Who knew such a simple office accessory would make a world of difference. I’m so glad it is so sturdy and durable because I’m going to need it to last a very long time. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this amazing office accessory.

Compact and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rocking feature of this footrest is a dream for those of us who need to fidget when we're sitting at a desk. The footrest legs can be stored beneath the body for a shorter height rest, or attached to the edges for a higher rest, or flipped over at the edges for rocking mode--which is the best! The footrest helps with posture and the rocking capability encourages movement and satisfies my need to fidget without producing noise. I like the grippy feet that prevent slipping and that the legs store directly on body of the footrest so there are no accessories to keep track of. I like the texture across the top that keeps my slippery shoes from sliding off. It's well made and I love that it's recyclable. I received the Breyta footrest through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I've used it every day since it arrived. I use it mostly at my desk, but it's also really comfortable to use when sitting on the couch.
