Can't turn off long press control in left earbud

I can't turn of the long press control on the left earbud. This is a problem because when I sweat at work my bandana presses the button and makes it nearly impossible to use it while working.

They fit my small ears well, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, they had some issues staying connected. Every now and again they cut on and off.
