Flex dark!

Recently purchased the flex dark series, for the minimum to low glow flash when capturing photos at nighttime! Once I received my camera the setup of the camera was super simple and started taking photos in no time in the woods! The low glow flash really is working well while taking crisp photos and not putting animals on high alert when taking night time shots. I will definitely be adding more of these cameras to my arsenal

Poor quality as usual

If you think this is a camera you can throw in your backpack, hike into your spot, set up the camera, and have it work I think you’ll be disappointed. I am not sure if it’s the antenna or poor software but 50% of the time with these cameras I never get pictures. Iv tried changing the sync time and selecting “take a picture at next sync” but that doesn’t work and my communication time doesn’t update on the camera so I know it’s not talking to the camera. Picture quality on the pictures I did get was good. I am not the only one having this issue leading me to believe SpyPoints build quality and software sucks. SpyPoint’s website also sucks case in point they don’t allow nicknames that have already been used. Apparently they don’t think more than one person is named Tyler now I have to come up with some random name.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

SOLID addition to my trail camera aresenal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Spypoint Flex-Dark for a while now, and it’s easily one of the best trail cameras I’ve ever owned. The photo and video quality are incredible, even in low light, and the Dark IR flash makes night shots super clear without spooking game. Setup was a breeze with the Spypoint app, and the connection has been solid every time I’ve checked in. I love that I can switch between photo and video modes right from my phone, and the trigger speed is lightning fast. Battery life has been impressive too, even after weeks in the field. Overall this camera is reliable, easy to use, and gives me everything I need for serious scouting. Spypoint knocked it out of the park with this one.

Great Camera with great features!

First off, I’d like to say nearly every spypoint camera I’ve heard have issues either run AA’s or LIT22’s, I’ll say running nearly every spypoint camera I have off of the Spypoint 5W Solar Panel and the firmware up to date there is ZERO issues. I have an original Flex that’s been running non-stop for 3 years. Now onto the Flex-Dark, this camera is awesome! I love the No-Glow feature and it has minimized spooking game. I’ve noticed they don’t look at the camera near as much as the G-36’s and Flex-Plus’. The flash is great a night and HD videos are top notch! I also have 5 Flex-S Dark’s and I love the instant feature on those as well. I do have AA’s or LIT22’s in each of them just for backup but the solar panels stay charged as long as they are facing south. I highly recommend using solar panels with all the non spypoint solar panel cameras, they will run indefinitely and issue free as long as they are kept up to date as well.
