Improvements needed

Instruction manual needs up dating, beep sound when oven is up to temp is very low, needs to be much louder, going into settings has very little effect on sound level

Pricey, but worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance, the Bosch 800 wall oven appears expensive for an appliance. The truth is that compared to other wall ovens on the market, the Bosch 800 series justifies the extra expense in exceptional build quality, high end features, and impeccable aesthetics. We purchased this unit to replace a 20+ year old Whirlpool Gold, and couldn't be happier. Our Thanksgiving turkey was perfectly cooked - no exaggeration - and the controls are intuitive. The oven is easy to use, looks fantastic in the kitchen, and has performed beyond expectations to date. The oven door even has a soft-close feature! Didn't know that when we purchased; just another reason to extoll the virtues of this unit.
The only complaint we have would be the volume of the chime (aka kitchen timer/beeper) - even on the highest setting the volume is too low to hear the beeping outside of the kitchen. If Bosch can fix this single issue, the appliance would be perfect.
