Great generator with a lot of features and its super quiet! had my first one for two and a half years and only used it twice and had issues with the genset locking up on it, they sent me a brand-new replacement and it was on my doorstep in less than three days!! amazing!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote control used

Using it only with the remote. After 3 happy years, it was no longer working. Could not reprogram the remote. Bought a remote module from Firman, pluged it in and now, I am happilly using the generator again. Thanks Firman

Time will tell...

Bought unit new. Followed all instructions, and started unit. The unit idled rough so we shut it down and restarted. After about 3 minutes of run time the engine shut down and locked up. Warranty did cover repairs, but communication was lacking. Picked the unit up this morning and seems to be running as it should. I was told there was a issue with the carburetor, and that it was replaced. Time will tell is this is a good piece of equipment.

Great product

I've had this thing for about six months now. Works like a charm. Remote is really nice for my travel trailer, don't have to go outside to crank. I had a Y 1000 and the computer let go in it...it was as expensive as the generator itself so I didn't replace the part and bought two firman product Good price and good price on parts as well if needed. I'm very satisfied so far.
