Just purchased unit. Easy to start. Pretty quite compared to some. Don't like the fact you need to take panel off each time to check oil. Sorry after awhile screws wear out. Wished it had a fuel gauge or someway to tell how much fuel you have.

I bought this W01781 genset from Princess Auto Canada in the surplus section. It was a return. After storing it for a year it wouldn't idle. Suspected car had jelled gasoline. Ordered a replacement carb and installed today. Fired right up and idled correctly. Presently using to try to charge my truck battery. Will update if I can with results

I have had the 2100W generator for about 3 years now, I originally bought it as a emergency backup in case we lost power. This winter a major storm rolled through, with a wind chill of -47 C and we lost power. I fired up the generator for the pellet stove, and it ran perfectly for 23 hours keeping the house warm. I had a couple lights hooked up to the unit, the pellet stove, and was charging cell iphones or power banks, and the generator rpm stayed at idle speed, barely using any fuel. It stepped up and saved the day until power was restored. Great quality product and I highly recommend !

The boxed inverter generator was well packaged but I was baffled by the fact that I needed to remove a few Philips head screws to access the oil filler panel. What didn't make sense was including a flat head screwdriver. I for the life of me could not turn the screws with the included screwdriver. One more note is the bottle of oil sent with the unit is more than enough to fill the tank. Not knowing this I inadvertently over filled the unit with oil. When I checked with the dipstick it spilled out and onto my floor. I understand that the unit is powered up with oil and then subsequently drained at the manufacturer leaving some oil behind but filling the tank with the little bottle and continuously checking the level is odd. One would assume that the volume of oil provided was much closer to the amount needed. This left me with quite a mess in my shed but thankfully I didn't attempt this on my patio. The motor started up with one pull and ran very quietly. Overall I'm impressed but the initial setup took considerably longer than expected thanks to the wrong driver and oil spill and subsequent cleanup
