I purchased 2 of these and paired them together to run my rv when I'm off the grid. They do a great job. I bought because of wieght i can handle. 1 4000 w was too heavy.
Pros: The quietest generator I've ever heard.
Cons: Need to keep out of the rain. A leanto works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Added oil. Filled with fuel. Followed instructions and it started on 1st pull. Ran well for the 1st 5 hours. Changed oil and it still starts on 1st pull. Waiting to see how it works under a full real load.

I have used the generator on several camping trips and it worked great on our camp trailer. The remote start was very handy. The unit is very fuel efficient I was happy how long it ran on a tank of fuel. I have called customer service with great results very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Starts easy and fuel efficient also very quiet.
Cons: Unhandy to check oil, by remove screw on panel.

Review update; Used the W01781 bought from Princess Auto surplus to charge my battery with supplied cigarette lighter to clip on 12 volt terminal ends. It worked at - 21C. Thanks.

I bought it mostly to run a miter saw and small compressor. It struggles a bit withe either of them, especially at start up! You can't run them both at the same time (if the compressor is running don't start the chop saw) but I figured that when I bought it. I will probably buy a cordless miter saw to solve the problem but for right now this works fine. Good little geni. Easy to move & store. .
Pros: Lightweight. Quiet. Fuel efficient.
Cons: Start power a little weak.

I am a long haul trucker that spendsalot of time in truck stops and spots wear the normal folks would not want to stay but us truckers never have a choice but using the Firman Generator saves me wear and tear on my Big Rig Motor saves me on fuel like if I idle my truck I go threw 1.5 Gallons and hour not to mention the extra hours put on the truck motor and I can run the generator all night and have my fridge tv blue ray the AC on and my Microwave and this little Generator runs it all
