Expensive? YES. Overpriced? Probably? Worth it in the end? YES. Best keyboard for the iPadPro. No doubt. With the power of the processor in the iPad, and the great hardware of the keyboard. This makes your iPad a touch-screen MacBook.

A charming man called Chris helped me set it up but I cannot get emails. This is a big problem for me because you wi Fi system in the store is so weak that you are not able to resolve issues. Zsuzsi Lea

I find myself touching the iPad instead of the keyboard. It will take time for this to pass. Typing is amazing, figuring out the keyboard actions is a bit of a challenge BUT i will survive. It is a well built unit and i do like it

Pretty Good, Not worth the Hype

It's alright.
Pros:
* solid keyboard, feels comfortable to type on (where supported)
* good trackpad, works well outside of tapping to click
* magnetic attachment- great idea, super satisfying

Cons:
* Tablet can't be mounted / attached vertically, meaning your webcam is awkwardly off to the site for video calls.
* Can't tilt back very far at all, I was hoping for a surface studio style hinge that would let me use my ipad as a drawing tablet but it only tilts back like 5 degrees.
* No protection - basically provides no additional protection to your ipad, not really great as a "case".
* Heavy - weighs more than the iPad.
* iPad OS doesn't support keyboard shortcuts like MacOS and doesn't support tapping to click on the trackpad (as opposed to clicking in to click)
* No spot for Apple Pencil - just bizarre given that this thing is the base for your ipad, it should have a holder / charger for the pencil, but instead they want you to keep the pencil attached to your ipad at all times which is wildly inconvenient.

Honestly, just bizarrely low attention to detail on this product overall. It's wild that so many blind apple fans are giving this 5 stars. I guarantee they've never tried a third party keyboard case or a surface.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice strong magnet. Keyboard has a nice touch, I only wish that I was able to use the keyboard in portrait mode

i truly appreciate having a full keyboard “integrated” with the iPad - meaning i shall no longer need to replace my laptop when it “dies”. I also really like the angle at which the screen is positioned.
Two things that are less positive - one, the weight of the keyboard/cover, it is heavy and two, the inability to use the iPad within it in portrait mode. Have to keep taking it out and putting it back.
Overall i am very happy to have it.
