BEST VACUUM / MOP COMBO HANDS DOWN !!

We have been dedicated Roomba users for the last 4 years so, when it came time to upgrade, we started by looking first to Roomba. We were set on their flagship model, but I decided to do some research online to see what was out there and to my surprise there were quite a few. It did not take long to realize that Eufy had really jump to the top in every category. After watching several YouTube reviews, it was clear that the Eufy S1 Pro was what we were buying. After now using this unit daily for almost a month, it is without a doubt the best combo unit on the market. Below are the things that I believe make it the best on the market
1. A mop that cleans itself while it is mopping BRILLANT!!
2. Mopping - Leaves the floor spotless
3. Camera mapping - Did my whole house in a couple of hours. (2,100 sq,)
4. Obstacle Avoidance - first in its class. It does not hit anything; in fact, it will do a 360 around a chair leg if necessary.
5. The base system - Everything about this base is awesome. How it cleans itself and refills itself with water and cleaner, Mop head drying, Ozone Generator,

I think the only thing I would have liked to see would have been the ability to choose whether or not you wanted the mop to dry at the base station. the reason being that sometimes we clean specific rooms and once it's done it heads to the base and then maybe 20 minutes later, we send it to another room. In this situation the mop dryer should be able to be bypassed until we are done for the day. Just a thought.
In closing, I would say thank you Eufy keep up the amazing work.

Vacuum and mop functions work great! The mop function doesn’t get close to edges like the vacuum does. However, what the mop does get is very clean. This saves me a lot of time!

Over the past 15 years, I've used various robot vacuums and mops in my home, and I am pleasantly surprised by the features on this one. The roller mop does an excellent job of cleaning, and the base effectively cleans and dries the mop, exceeding my expectations. The vacuum operates relatively quietly and offers multiple suction modes, which is great for different needs, ultimately saving battery life and reducing the time spent vacuuming. It's impressively low maintenance, and because it functions as both a mop and a vacuum, it takes up little space.
I particularly appreciate that it verbally states the error instead of just displaying an error code that I would have to decipher. The first time I used it to mop, I accidentally installed the roller incorrectly. When it stopped, it said, “clear roller.” I then opened the app and was amazed by how quickly it identified the problem. The app provided specific step-by-step instructions to resolve the issue (remove lid, remove dirty water tank, flip over, remove roller, etc.) and reminded me to ensure I heard an audible click when reinstalling the roller. It has never gotten lost or stuck, unlike many others that often do.
I can't emphasize enough how impressed I am with both the robot and the base.

Awesome Technology, Easy To Use, Effective Cleaning Machine, Various Settings for Cleaning

I've been using this Robot Vacuum religiously to help combat the dog hair in my home which is relentless.
INITIAL SET UP AND INSTALL
- The instructions were very clear on how to set everything up. The only issue I had was my cleaning solution froze during the shipment process since I'm up in the Midwest so I had to thaw it out before I could install it properly since it was expanded.

DESIGN
- The Omni S1 Pro Docking Station is very sleek with a slim profile and the Eco-Clean Ozone Technology in the water tank is really cool as well. Their are controls on the Robot along with a touch screen on the Docking Station which is a cool feature or you can simply use your phone to control the vacuum.

HOME MAPPING
- I upgraded from a basic robot vacuum w/ no camera to this vacuum/mop robot and it only took about 10-15min or so to map my entire main floor (~450 sq ft) since it was also utilizing the camera on the front on the vacuum whereas my old robot vacuum would've taken a few hours. It is still fine tuning the map with noting where the rugs are and also noting where power cords are which is awesome but it does mistake my dog bed for a sock which is pretty funny. The map itself is actually fairly accurate and it was also able to map some side entryways with its camera without needing to enter the area,

The app allows you to divide up rooms and label them to assist with scheduled cleaning and the map does have icons that pop up to indicate "Cords" and "Clothing Items" like the sock I mentioned earlier but I don't know if it send any photo notifications to my phone about random objects it cleans around (i.e. dog poop); this is a future thought I had in the event I foster a dog and they poop on my floor or if it's just an icon that pops up.

ISSUES
- I've encountered a few small issues that I wanted to highlight which aren't a big deal. Issue 1: As of Dec/2024, you are not able to move room barriers without first merging the rooms then re-dividing them. I brought this issue up with the support team and they are working to resolve this. This is something nice to have so I can fine tune my room dividers so the robot vacuum isn't constantly lifting and dropping the mop as it enters a carpeted area. Issue 2: This is something that came up largely due to my large plush rug where the robot vacuum would sometimes get onto my carpet and clean it (could get stuck from time-to-time) or it will simply clean around the rug and only hit the wood floors. This issue is primarily due to my rug being too plush so not really the robots fault but I did want to highlight the issue since there was an area under my media stand where the robot could not get to since it had to go onto the rug. To resolve this issue I ended up just rearranging the rug to allow the robot vacuum to go under the media stand without needing to climb onto the rug.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I am incredibly happy with this robot vacuum and my wife and I are both in agreeance that our floors have never looked better and it really saves us a ton of time cleaning the house. This vacuum does the majority of the work so the only areas we need to physically clean are the plush rug and any small crevasses where the vacuum cannot get to. The vacuum does an incredibly job cleaning along the baseboards and really hugging the walls and anything else on the floor like the xmas tree, presents, dog dishes, etc. whereas my old robot vacuum would push everything around instead of avoiding obstacles. We sleep 1 floor above where this vacuum is and you cannot hear it when it's cleaning unless it needs to empty the trash bin. Other than that we refill the water tank once per week as well as the dirty water reservoir and the robot takes care of the rest.

I could not decide between this vacuum and the Roborock Curv on the days leading to Black Friday. Watched many videos and came way with the conclusion that for mopping hard floors, this guy was the one to beat.(my house is 90% hard flooring.) Sooo, I pulled the trigger and I am so glad I did. Shipping was pretty fast and I got the S1Pro up and running in no time. He's been doing a great job so far! I could not be happier!

This robot vacuum does an amazing job mopping our house. With our first floor being mainly LVP this is a game changer. Drying the mop head takes longer than I would’ve thought initially, but it does a great job. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
