induction range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly love my new induction range, however, there is a learning curve. The burners do heat up quickly, but if you accidently touch another area of the stove top, or put another pot on it, sometimes it turns everything off. Another issue is the timer---I HATE IT. It is sensitive and takes a soft touch to set it. If you just hold it, it advances too quickly and all of a sudden, you have set a time for 2 hours, when all I needed was 45 min. The oven seems to work as expected.

Beware of Shattered Glass!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hesitated to provide feedback, as the company is already sending us a replacement unit. But, since I was unaware of this possible issue, I wanted to make future owners aware. We used our oven for two days on the 'Bake' setting. On day two I opened the oven to take out our food and after a loud 'pop' the glass on the inside of the door completely shattered. No injuries, but our food was ruined and I'm now sort of shellshocked to use the replacement unit. Wanted to make others aware that this is a known issue for this appliance.

While tempered glass is designed for safety and can occasionally shatter due to stress factors or rare manufacturing defects, this is not something customers should expect during normal operation.
