Great looking range

This is our first induction stove top so we're still getting used to the touch top. It does seem like I have to touch it a couple times to get the settings we want.

Disappointing

I'm very disappointed in this range. I bought it in part because it has physical knobs to control the oven. The knobs are physical but they send signals to a computer. There is no physical feedback. There is a huge delay between turning the knobs and the setting changing. Many of the oven features are actually controlled by the touch screen. All of the computer controlled features are very non-responsive; there is an irritatingly long delay between touching a control and the range doing anything. After well over a year I still frequently hit controls multiple times thinking that my touch didn't register only to mess up the settings because I hit the control too many times. One of the benefits of an induction cooktop is easy to clean. Not so much with this range. There is a big gap between the glass and the steel trim front and back. It's always full of crud and difficult to clean. The steam feature in the oven is no better than putting a pan in the bottom. The smallest burner is in the back and the biggest isn't near as big as the one on my neighbor's Bosch. The glide shelf is nice but the old-fashioned slide shelves are sticky and very hard to move. I've tried the air fryer multiple times and can't see that it does anything like an actual air fryer. The oven is consistently 25ºF low. Everything about this range seems to have been designed by marketing to fill check lists not to provide something that actually is useful. The oven does get hot and the cooktop heats pots, so that's good, though the cooktop is significantly slower than my neighbor's Bosch. I will replace this less than two year old range as soon as I can save up the money.

For the oven temperature, you may want to use an oven thermometer to verify accuracy, and the calibration feature on the control panel can help correct any deviation. For cleaning, carefully wiping the gaps between glass and trim after cooking may help prevent buildup. If the touch or knob controls feel unresponsive, try resetting the control panel can sometimes improve responsiveness.

Induction is wonderful

Pleasant Cooking experience

I have been pleasantly surprised with operation of my new induction range. I will need more time to learn all of the ovens various cooking options but the stove top has performed very well. I would say the only issue I am having is using the built in timer functions. I am having difficulty with it responding to my pressing the touch screen. Otherwise it seems to be a solid product and I love the slide out shelf.

Everything I wanted and more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We could not be more pleased with our new Frigidaire induction range. It slid into our space perfectly and looks as if it was designed specifically for our kitchen. The fit and finish immediately elevated the entire room.
The burner response time is remarkable. Water comes to a rolling boil in under three minutes, so quickly that we have already had two boil-overs while adjusting to the speed. The precision and control are impressive, especially compared to traditional electric cooking.
Before purchasing, we noticed a few comments about burner noise during heating or while using Power Boost. In our experience, the sound is extremely subtle and a complete non-issue. It is barely noticeable and certainly not a factor that should deter anyone from choosing induction.
The No Preheat oven feature has been a wonderful surprise. It saves time and makes weeknight cooking much more efficient. Now let's talk the telescoping oven rack!!! It is a feature we never realized we needed. After using it, we cannot imagine owning another oven without one. Every range should include this thoughtful upgrade.
Overall, this range has exceeded our expectations in performance, design, and convenience. We would highly recommend it to anyone considering the move to induction.

Grand decision

Still learning ins and outs of cooking on my new stovetop. Precautions to prevent scratches a balance between protection with silicon mat and use of power boost feature. Oven works great for baking bread and cakes. Excited to try air fry feature. Best advantage: easy cleanup. Microfiber cloth and spray water bottle make the maintenance pleasant vs. drudgery. Enjoying my new induction range!
