Great range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I taught hiome economics for 25+ years and have worked on many different kinds and brands of ranges. I am in my "senior" years and we needed a new range. My husband wanted "the best". The Bosch 800 series did not disappoint us. We love it. So easy to keep clean. The operational videos are well done. With them I have easily adjusted to using the range. If I have further questions, I refer to the manual. If you can use a phone, you can use this range. I'm blessed to be cooking with the "best" in my later years.

Win some, lose some

We've owned Bosch induction ranges for many years- in fact due to moving we're on our third one, so I feel like I can give some good insight on this appliance. I love cooking on this range but it is not without flaws. Flaws which Bosch have not improved over the years. Wins: it cooks so well, it's quick and responsive, the oven works nicely, and it's a good-looking appliance, too. The losses: the top controls are impossible to see unless lit overhead by our vent hood, it hates having water on cooktop or fingertips, it beeps at you if any metal touches the top controls, and the oven controls are activated when you lean against them so it's constantly chiming at me while I cook. Also, the glass top on our latest one has scratched much more readily and the warming drawer does pop open at the slightest bump. I think our next induction range will have to have physical controls because this whole touchpad thing just doesn't work for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
