I think it's as good as instant coffee gets.

I prefer a cup of brewed coffee any day, but I take Folgers instant when I'm on the road and it's better than the other instant coffee's. I have found myself even drinking it at home when I want a fast cup of iced coffee because you can just put the coffee crystals over cold water and there you have instant cold coffee rather than having to brew it and cool it or cold brew it.

I really enjoyed the flavor of the Folgers Classic Roast Instant Coffee Crystals. The coffee alone had an excellent aroma to it! What an easy and very convenient way to enjoy your coffee. Whether you are camping, or an afternoon pick me up, this product really did the trick! I would recommend this product to anyone who is on the go or is rushed for time. I was a little hesitate at first when I received this product for free to review, but I'm sure glad that I did! I will definitely be buying this product in the future! This is really "the best part of waking up!"

I think I'll stick with drip

I want to say thank you, as I received this product free for review.
I typically drink 1-2 cups of coffee per day, mostly automatic drip style, but instant coffee is used in a pinch. I enjoy not only the flavor of coffee, but the heady aromas as well. To be thorough, I evaluated this coffee in various ways: aroma of crystals dry, aroma of coffee heated, black, sugar only, sugar and creamer, and with food.
Aroma of crystals dry: Opening the bottle for the very first time is always exciting – it’s when you get the best whiff of that beautiful bouquet. Unfortunately, upon opening this product for the first time, the aroma was faint, yet surprisingly it had a distinct cocoa-like scent. Subsequent days upon opening, there was barely any hint of an aroma at all.
Aroma of coffee heated: I have to admit, I was extremely surprised that when I poured the boiling water over the crystals, what I smelled most was a hoppy (beer-like) aroma that I don’t associate with coffee.
Black coffee: I felt the initial flavor was extremely bitter, but there was that hinting of a cocoa flavor, almost like burnt chocolate.
Sugar only: I put quite a bit of sugar in the cup, yet didn’t taste too much of a difference, the bitterness still overwhelmed my senses.
Sugar and sweetened creamer: I do like a sweeter coffee, so I added a sweetened French Vanilla creamer to my cup and at first the bitterness of the coffee overpowered all the sweetness I added. Then, interestingly enough, after letting the coffee cool down, my creation had a very smooth vanilla flavor, almost like a melted milkshake consistency, which I enjoyed!
With food: I sometimes eat my coffee, that is I pour my coffee, lots of sugar, and lots of milk over plain crackers; it’s something I’ve enjoyed periodically over many years, so I tried it with this coffee and found it to be bland, but personally for me, that is better than bitter.
Overall, I feel this product would be a delight for someone who enjoys a coffee with a bitter flavor and a mild cocoa or hoppy aroma, unfortunately, I am not that someone so I’ll stick with drip :-)

This product just wasn't very good at all. I received this product for free to review it, and I would not buy it. It had a very fake, funny taste to it and left a bad aftertaste. I only recently started drinking instant coffee, and this doesn't compare to others I've tried. I also didn't feel like it had the same kick as other coffees. I would only drink this product in a pinch, if I had no other coffee in the house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

simply the best

I have been in jail and folgers is the only coffee that woke me up and got me up through reading time and chow....if it wasn't for folgers being available in the jail systems on commissary ordering, no inmate would see daylight....thank you to the jail and prison systems for making golfers available.

Not the quality of pre-1980's

1981 bought 2oz. Jars from discount drugstore in Calgary. unbelievable taste fantastic. Nothing even close truly tasted like fresh brewed coffee. Bought every jar in the store. They never brought anymore in and no other stores carried it. 1987 went through Mass. On the way to NS. Bought a huge jar. Original taste gone not much better than the ultra economy brands. Recently I bought 2- 340 gm jars hoping for improvement. I have to cut it with nescafe instant to make it palatable. Sorry I wasted the money. Bring back the pre 1980's bean and roast/ style. Please, please.

Instant Folgers tastes great!

I have been drinking Folger's for almost 30 years. Went back to college September 2017. I now fix instant Folger's jus tbefore I leave for my classes. Instant tastes a great as when I brew it in my coffee maker. I am now converted fully to Folger's instant. Nothing tastes better!
