I have been useing Folgers instant for a number of years,and have tryed others to no avail,I am 85 years now and lost the wife to cancer some years ago so the instant is much easier as well as a fresh cup any time,its great

Folgers instant taste has been going down hill since the packaging ( which is terrible now!) was changed. UGH to the new taste. Always used Folgers instant regular & Decaf, have been sooooo dissapointed for over a year with the quality of the instant coffee from Folgers. Shame, Shame. I have been trying other brands & will continue to find the brand that comes up to the past Folgers taste. Less flavor, less customers!!!!

Why Folgers changed

I have been drinking folgers for a long time and I continue to drink it, but when they changed the bottle, it let it oxidize faster. The new bottle doesn't seal. i have kept some old bottles and I pour the new bottle into it as soon as I open it. It has helped. But when I buy the 12 or 16oz size, it has to wait for me to use it, since I only have 8 oz bottles from years ago. I still drink it because my body does not like ground coffee.

Has a chemical aftertaste says it's 100% pure coffee but it doesn't smell or taste like it.
Next time I go to the grocery store I will return it and say it's bad.

This has been my favorite instant coffee for years, however my last purchase was disappointing. I need to use twice as much per cup than in the past. What happened to the flavor (or lack of)? It has a use by date of March 30, 2017, and the bar code number is 25500 00034.

Lost it's quality

It's been about 20 years I have been drinking coffee. Folgers instant coffee used to be great, and right now it does not smell, nor taste like coffee. Bought the coffee in the grocery store of course, brought it home and as soon as I opened the seal to make my coffee, I got an aroma of a stale like odor. Product does show a valid expiration, so, what happened to the coffee?

Quality has slipped

Unfortunately, I have to agree with a lot of the negative reviews. When I got married, I converted my husband to Folgers and he was amazed as the difference. My dad had been drinking Folgers for years and It was the first coffee I learned to drink. The aroma and flavor were unbeatable. Not anymore. I am trying other instant coffees now trying to find something that lives up to my memories of Folgers. Please take these reviews to heart and try to get your product back to its former glory. I really miss the flavor!
