Loved Folger's Instant 50 Years BUT NOT NOW

I've LOVED drinking Folgers Classic Roast Instant Coffee Crystals for more than 50 years, but my most recent 2 jars are not the same. I bought the 2 jars from two different stores, in the hope that the second one would taste great again. It is terrible.The taste now is almost undrinkable! Did Folgers change the recipe, or is this just a bad batch? Please restore the delicious Folgers Coffee flavor I've loved for more than half a century!

I have been drinking Folgers Instant for as long as I can remember. My husband and I have 2 or 3 cups a day and sometimes more. We love it because I could never make a good pot of coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Taste really kind of odd.

I bought Folgers for the tastes I experience at my friend's home where she brews her Folgers. I was so disappointed. I guess I will just donate it to someone. I won't be drinking it, so sad.

What's up? What has changed? Why?

What's up? We have been Folgers coffee drinker for over fifty years. We can't drink it any more. The flavor is awful. We are not alone. We travel a lot an have asked many friends and family and strangers. We are going to change coffee.

Packaging not consumer friendly

You've been packaging your instant coffee in this "easy open flip-top" for awhile now. Certainly the flip-top is easy to open ... but it is next to impossible to unscrew the cover to remove the inner seal to gain access to the coffee. One is now forced to try to carefully remove it with a sharp knife while attempting to follow around the edge of the red plastic cover. It was much easier & safer to be able to remove the inner seal by hand. Also, regardless of what you have said about the taste still being the same when others have raised that issue ... I must agree they are correct. It has been my observation the taste declined about the same time you changed from using a glass container to a cheaper plastic container. As a note about your responses to people's reviews : You use a black colored font over a very dark background color making it nearly unreadable.

The Water You Use

I enjoy a good cup of coffee. Today's water supply for consumers is not the quality we had when I was younger
I live in Delaware and the stuff that comes from our tap is not fit for my pets to drink, let alone for consumption. I use bottled water for all cooking and drinking.
I suggest to the folks disappointed with Folgers to try bottled or distilled water or, as an option, milk with their instant coffee.

Much better than Black Rifle Coffee Company

I was not sure about this product and then I tried it, I am convinced Flavor Crystals provide the best and fastest cup of coffee. There is even a delightful foam that makes this feel like an authentic coffee shop coffee instead of something brewed at home.
