Exploding K-Cups for Starbucks Pike Place Decaf

I love the Pike Place Coffee Decaf but these k-cups have been manufactured wrong. As the pressure from the Keurig is forced into the cup, the seal on top of the cup bursts open. It leaves a mess of grounds splattered everywhere. I thought I had just a bad box but the same thing has happened with other boxes of ONLY THIS PRODUCT. Regular Pike Place Coffee k-cups do not do this. I do not recommend the k-cup for Pike Place Decaf.

I bought this product to try it out and it was great. Good aroma, robust flavor, all the things you want in a decaf coffee. I recently purchased a box and it is flavorless. I don't know what happened but the coffee is not as good. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I cannot give this product a rating higher than one star.

Most decaf is like drinking hot brown water but this one has great flavor. For me this medium roast is the best choice.

While this is a darker roast as is common for most Starbuck's, this decaf lacks just about everything. Nothing of note in the flavor. Bland aroma. Sort of like a darker version of Maxwell House, et al.
