Good for small room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy and excited to receive a free trial product from Media. Midea 5,000 BTU portable air conditioner is highly portable, easy to move between rooms, especially in small rooms, with beautiful design. It also saves space and requires no permanent setup. Has multiple cooling and refrigeration functions, easy to install. Self-cleaning and energy saving features are also a plus. However, its number one point is that the noise is annoying, especially when operating in high mode. I really like it and will recommend this product to my friends

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble. Works amazingly!! Cold air fast. Having wheels on the bottom makes it easy to move without heavy lifting . The remote is a plus with this product . I highly recommend this product ,it's well worth the money .

I had bought this 2 yrs ago n still working. I was skeptical about it. I’m glad I bought it. Yes, instructions don’t help you. Know I understand about the water drainage n place a big bucket for water drainage.

This is a great portable AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this portable AC unit for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I live in a small house in Southern California where we don't need AC most of the year, however when we do it gets miserable for a couple weeks in late summer. Although it's still early in the season this AC I ran it for one afternoon on dry mode to try it out. In that time it pulled a full gallon of water out of the air! If for no other reason than as a dehumidifier, this is an incredible piece of equipment. I also have a U shaped window unit from Midea which I prefer for the space savings and ease of installation, but for a portable unit where you may want to move it from room to room this is good. I do with there were an internal reservoir for the condensate. The air duct to the outside is well built, but because of that it's a little clunky. Additionally I wish that the window insert itself were insulated and even with a cover of some kind for when the duct is being stored my window isn't open to the environment. But for a traditional portable AC this is a top notch one.

Shocked at how well it works!

Summer in Mississippi is brutal. Having an air conditioner is a must. Well, our AC unit went out. Not having the money to repair it, we needed a temporary replacement. We found this Midea portable AC. Since I had not heard of a portable AC before, I was sure it was not going to work. We decided to give it a try anyway, and prayed it would work. Well, prayers answered. We placed it in the bedroom and after just a few minutes, we were loving this Midea portable AC. Thank God and thank Midea. It does what it says does. Now If we can get a couple more of these, we can make it through the summer.

Quickly cools any room, big or small! Life saver for sure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC has truly been a blessing to me during these hot Summer days and nights so far. It cools my living room and kitchen in no time. You can even use it as a humidifier! I was worried I'd run into complications setting it up but it was actually super easy and quick. Another plus is that it fits just about any window opening, vertical or horizontal and it's on wheels so moving it around to get that cool air flow wherever you want is a breeze! (No pun intended lol). It does make a little bit of a humming white noise sound but what powerful AC doesn't? The sound actually helps me sleep like a baby to be honest. The only complaint I can come up with is that after running it for a long period of time, it does leak sometimes. Not exactly sure why or if that's normal but I don't care, still a great, powerful air conditioner, especially to be so compact!

It was easy to set up and works well against Louisiana spring afternoons. I'm curious to see how well it works when temps get to 110 here with humidity. Right now I think it's perfect for our space.
