Great sound and bass response

"Extreme" Down side- bought the Extreme 2 in order to connect with my Charge 3's, Problem is they're not compatible to connect with each other. There was no detailed explanation that "connect" and "connect +" are not compatible when I made the purchase. If I had known, I would not have purchased as now I have 2 types of speakers that I can't use together...disappointed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Sound

It sounds amazing. No distortion or crackling. Battery life is sufficient if you don't plug a phone in to maintain phone charge. Works well indoors or outdoors. Not super loud, but easily portable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Speaker Ever

Extremely satisfied. It is my second JBL speaker.
Also have JBL Charge 3 that I changed a new battery after 3 years of great service and is back in action.again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very cool speaker, wish it was louder

I was looking for a speaker for college and bought this one. Loved the design and color options. I ended up returning it and getting the Boombox 2 instead since the volume on that is much louder. Highly recommend this speaker for smaller gatherings and back ground music. It didn’t have the best out door volume.

Happy with the xtreme 2, just thought it would be a bit louder for its price. Great garage/work speaker, things built like an armadillo

Great Speaker but dissapointed

So apparently this is JBL Extreme '2', is bigger and heavier ONLY to sound less louder than Extreme 1? Where's the logic really? More money for a bigger speaker that sounds less louder than its cheaper predecessor? Disappointing, there's just not logic to that

“Waterproof” Failure

i’ve had the jbl xtreme 2 for a while now and it just recently went into the pool for maybe 5 seconds before i took it out and it started making a clicking sound and i put it inside to dry and got all the water out and now it will not turn on. i have tried all of the trouble shooting for it and leaving it on the charger and nothing happens. i was very pleased with this speaker until last night, not that happy with this brand right now.
