Boomy midbass heavy, can't connect to app

If you switch from computer or phone to this speaker, the lack of treble is painfully obvious. I can't connect to the JBL app. I was hoping to find an equalizer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for the feedback. We don't have an equalizer for the JBL Connect App. You can rename the Bluetooth, pair Connect + speakers, check the battery level, and update the firmware using our app. You may try to use any third-party application for the equalizer but do so with caution as it could affect the sound quality. To make the most out of your music listening experience, we recommend that the settings will be in default.

Not happy with purchase after I used 3 times and 2 months old it won't even power up.

do some research before buy this product

very disappointed with my purchased speaker lack of bass not loud enough there is no difference between my old link 20 and JBL extreme 2 I know JBL make great products this one by far is the worse

Xtreme 2 Sound Doesn't Compare to Boombox
