Power button failing

Sound is a 15/10, the size and shape is amazing I love JBL, I own some JBL headphones, small speaker, and have bought two Xtreme 2’s. I bought this speaker less than a year ago and now the power button is failing. It doesn’t want to turn on. I loved this speaker SO much I bought my best friend a matching one. It was honestly the highlight of my days coming home and turning it on. It came with me wherever I went, now I’m so extremely sad it doesn’t work. There’s nothing I’d change about this speaker and how it functioned in these months I’ve had it, the only problem is the power button stopped working which is so disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Whats xtreme about it

I have a charge 3 and an xtreme 2 and they sound the freakin same. Only plus side about it is that i can pair it with my charge 3..i cant recommend, just but another charge 3
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bye, bye boom box

Last summer I heard a JBL Charge 4 that this guy had down on his boat. I was looking for something small to replace a pretty large old Sony boom box that was taking up too much space in my boat. I decided to try the Extreme 2 since I was looking for a little better sound than the Charge 4 but didn't want the bulk of the Boombox. Sounds good outside but really shines in an enclosed space. Perfect for a cruiser or yacht.

I've used this for a few days and it seems great. The loudness and the quality are amazing. I would add a few features though: WiFi connectivity, AirPlay 2, USB-C, Carrying Case, More customizations from the app like password protection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not a sound engineer but i can appreciate a great sounding speaker. The Xtreme 2 is all that and much more. The highs, mid-range and especially the bass are impressive given the size. while it will not fill your entire backyard with sound, (although JBL makes products that will) the Xtreme 2 will rock your world in an average room, campsite,BBQ, boat or similar setting. Waterproof feature is awesome and my unit has already been tested and passed with an A+++ rating having been fully submerged. 15 hrs of play time is very nice too. could not be happier with this speaker!

Although JBL Xtreme has a lot of good features , JBL Xtreme 2 has the best features.
