Work Great with Big and Small Groups

Ww organize training events ranging from 20 to 200 people, and we require different types of speakers for our events. This speaker works great for small events up to 50 people, and has the ability to connect to our mixer to connect our microphones and laptops via the AUX 3.5 mm connection.
We are extremely happy with the 100w output and the portability. In the past we used to carry heavier speakers to our events, and JBL Xtreme 3 has been a lifesaver.
We looked at various comparable models, but this speaker has functions that other speakers don't have.
Very highly recommended for indoor and outdoor use.

Sounds very sharp.. I can not hear the bass drum..

I have own my blue Xtreme3 for 1 year now, it works fine, but I have found that the Xtreme 3 sound very sharp and harsh... this is too bright sound to my ears, and I can not hear the bass drum as well.. Is this speaker too small so that it can't produce that sound (My friends who is an audio engeneer told me that small speaker can not produce the bass drum sound) or it's an accident? I had never drop my Xtreme3 into water before. Thanks! I am a fan of JBL.

We appreciate your feedback on our JBL Xtreme 3. We are sorry to hear that the sound quality of our JBL Xtreme 3 did not meet your expectations. You may want to enhance these speakers' audio output by using a 3rd party equalizer app which you can download from the Google Playstore or the Apple Store. Also, try to reset your Xtreme 3, with the speaker ON, press and hold the VOL+ and Pause/Play buttons for 5-6 seconds. The Xtreme shuts down and is now reset. You will need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If you have any questions or concerns about your device, please contact our Customer Support.

Good speaker, but disappointed

I'm huge fan of the JBL speakers. I have a Flip,Charge, Xtreme 2 and recently bought a Xtreme 3. As the sound is great, im more disappointed in the fact I can't link my older speaker together. I was excited to buy the 3 and couldn't wait to link to the 2 but sadly it doesn't link. No a happy customer

I loved this speaker!

All JBL speakers are amazing! I had a Prius with JBL speakers and I was so bummed when I had to part ways. Since then I am loyal to JBL. I currently own the JBL Xtreme 3 and the Go 3. I am sad to say that the battery on the Xtreme has unfortunately died out. It won’t keep a charge anymore and I’m not sure why. Anyone else have this issue? I don’t want to get rid of it just yet and I just don’t have the money right now to replace it.

Do not buy

I bought an extreme 3 14 months ago. Used less than 10 times and will not take a charge anymore. 350 wasted and JBL will not do anything. Do not waste your money on this product. My unit has no damage and looks brand new. Terrible support of product. I fully understand if I damaged product but battery and charging system is junk!!!

Jos uvijek cekam da primjer ovog modela xtreme 3 dođe kod mene što je uskoro. Ali vidim neka nerealna ocekivanja nezadovoljnih kupaca. Puno usporedbe sa prvim modelom kao da ima vise basa. Ja sam slusao pozorno na modelu xtreme 3 je bas mozda slabiji za pola nijanse ali je cisci i precizniji zvuk u odnosu na xtreme 1. Jedina velika mana za mene na tako vrhunskim zvucnicima je to da trajanje baterije nije dobro raspoređeno. Evo primjer. Jedan charge 5 traje puno dulje od veceg xtreme modela. Ili boombox traje 24 sata dok xtreme 15. A flip 5 12 sati. A hvala bogu cijene su ekstremno za svaki model skuplje pa bi volio da xtreme 3 na primjer traje barem 18 sati ako boombox moze 24 sata trajat.
