Good speaker, but disappointed

I'm huge fan of the JBL speakers. I have a Flip,Charge, Xtreme 2 and recently bought a Xtreme 3. As the sound is great, im more disappointed in the fact I can't link my older speaker together. I was excited to buy the 3 and couldn't wait to link to the 2 but sadly it doesn't link. No a happy customer

Poor setup

Bought this unit hoping to use it for more than Bluetooth. I linked the speaker to my laptop via Bluetooth, tried to use it with my recorded songs, not happening, tried using my pindrive with an appropriate cable, again nothing. I was able to hear music from a streaming source. I am able to listen to music stored on my phone but that is not what I was hoping for

Thanks for your inquiry. Please try to forget your JBL Xtreme 3 from your laptop, restart your laptop's Bluetooth, and make sure that your speaker is in pairing mode by pressing the Bluetooth button. The device name should be JBL Xtreme 3 only, not JBL Xtreme 3-LE. Once it is paired, there should be a feedback sound. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

Not happy about JBL sound

I bought it 2 weeks ago thinking it was going to have a lot of bass and I was not happy with the sound being it’s a JBL speaker I will probably not buy JBL again I was every disappointed in the sound when u turn it up the bass goes away very very disappointed!!

Disappointed

I bought the Xtreme 3 to pair with my Charge 5 out by my pool. I thought the larger size and increased wattage of the Xtreme 3 would really boost my sound quality and volume. I was disappointed when I realized the Xtreme 3 was barely audible when the 2 speakers were paired together. The Charge 5 alone projects better, and although the Xtreme did have a slightly better sound quality, I could not justify the expense of the Xtreme 3 for the lack of contribution it made. After reading all the small print in the manual to see if my Xtreme 3 was defective I discovered the speaker wattage was smaller in the Xtreme 3 than the Charge 5 and not all of the speakers were operable under battery power in the Xtreme. I'm guessing that is why was underwhelmed by its performance.

The Best Portable Speaker For Your Money
