I do love the size but compared to the I party box it didnt compare in sound.

A Worthwhile Purchase

I love this speaker. The sound is very very good for a portable speaker. I was surprised at the quality of the bass and the mid range. The high end could be a little better, although it’s still better than I would have expected. As with all Bluetooth devices, I get frustrated sometimes when I can’t get it to connect due to conflicting signals from my ever growing array of Bluetooth technology.

Xtreme 3 is not worth the money

Longtime supporter, and avid user, of JBL. The JBL Xtreme Bought the JBL Xtreme 3 because the battery life on my JBL Xtreme 1 had got down to a couple of hours .
JBL has always offered one of the highest quality bass sound, that’s why I loved them. The JBL Xtreme 3 is trash. Sound quality is weak and over EQ’d w/ the treble register. Almost NO BASE!
Really heartbreaking that JBL has gotten away from what made they special… Speaker does work and has a nice shoulder stra.

Thanks for your feedback. All batteries, over time, will slowly wear down. When you first get a unit it may last 5 hours. Two years later it may only last 3 hours. This is normal. A good battery will keep more than 70% of its original capacity even after 500 charging cycles. What isn’t normal, is when a 12-month-old battery only lasts 15 minutes. Please do a factory reset on your JBL Xtreme 3 by pressing and holding the volume + and pause/play buttons for 5-6 seconds while the speaker is on. Then, pair your JBL Xtreme 3 to your source device before using an equalizer. If the troubleshooting steps do not work, we'd like to work with you directly to address the issues you're experiencing with your JBL Xtreme 3.
