Simple easy set up

Absolutely the best soundbar I've had. Excellent full surround sound without knocking out the windows with volume. I've had Bose, Sony and Samsung but this knocks them out of the water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost Flawless

I bought the JBL Bar 9.1 a few weeks ago and I love it. It’s especially great if you use an Apple tv4k as it supports LPCM via EARC. That was the main selling point. It’s a huge upgrade from my last soundbar. The only complaints I have is that there is no app or equalizer available to adjust the center speaker, and the fact that smart mode is the default setting and has to be turned off every time it’s turned on. Other than that, it’s great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

He Loves it!!

I got this as a Father’s Day gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! Right out of the box he was able to se it up with little to no effort. He even got little hanging shelves for the detachable side speakers. I must admit, it brings a different experience to the room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good sound, weird issues…

Bought a couple weeks ago. Setup is stupid simple, but kept getting retry errors when calibrating. Took maybe 20 times? Maybe more…but it eventually worked. The sound is pretty good, exceptional for a bar. Two issues keep this bar from being perfect, or even great. One: I have noticed that the bass is super loud, and then when the bass heavy item on screen is over, it’s too quiet. I think it’s because voice track that would normally be center channel, gets pushed to all channels, so instead of the L/R and surrounds backing up that channel, they all get a little piece of it. It’s crazy hard to hear words when people talk, unless you crank it up. Then the bass is nuts.
Second: I route my appletv and Xbox series x through the tv, then arc to the soundbar. When using my Xbox with atmos on, the sound bar will turn off and also turn the tv off. I have to turn the tv back on which will then kick the tv back on. If I wire the Xbox to the tv, or the Xbox through a traditional setup with atmos on, the issue doesn’t occur. Not sure why…
If these two issues were fixed, it would be perfect though.

No sound

Bought the sound bar in April 2021. Worked great sounds great. A couple of months later while watching tv the sound bar would start gurgling and hard to hear it than couldn’t understand what was being said. Now no sound at all. Help!

Missing parts/caps to cover ends of the soundbar!

Where are my caps? Soundbar looks ugly and unfinished under the TV. Why in Europe they are included?
