JBL You really hit this ball out of the park! The quality is beyond outstanding! Build, sound, materials! JBL, you've really come a long way, baby. 20 years ago, I thought your products were not good. Subpar build and materials quality. Did it take Samsung purchasing your parent company Harman to get the QUALITY to improve this much?! I bought this Boombox 3 expecting it to be good. It's not "good". IT IS GREAT!! Phenomenal sound even at full volume! Excellent sound detail! I hear things in my music that I've never heard before! I have a Bose Acoustic Wave Music System, it's really good! It however pales in comparison to this PHENOMENAL JBL BOOMBOX! This JBL shakes my house and, replaces a big stereo! What a great piece of audio equipment! Audiophile sound at a wonderful price! JBL, you did so well.eith this unit! Crystal clear highs, thunderous lows, stunningly accurate mids, this box exceeds my expectations in every way! I had it up to full blast the other day. 100% distortion free! Raw JBL power! This unit does not feel flimsy. It has a quality look and feel to it. Thank you for building a speaker with the sound and quality that JBL was once known for many, many years ago. As far as I'm concerned, the long time gone JBL is back! And better than ever before!

Great sound and plenty of volume

I was looking for something with plenty of volume, great sound, and could handle wet and sandy environments. The Boombox 3 fits the bill perfectly. I have other JBL Bluetooth speakers as well, but the Boombox 3 is next level on all fronts. Very impressed. Excellent speaker.

We love us some JBL Speakers

I am very happy with my purchase. We have 10 JBL speakers in our family and the boom box 3 is now my favorite. We started with flip 3 and then we purchased several Charge 4, 1 Extreme 2 and an Extreme 3. The Boom Box 3 has a lot more bass and depth to the sound. We also purchased 2 of the Party Box 300. These are great for more stationary use. Great for parties or gatherings. Overall, Boom Box 3 is my personal favorite.

I bought this during the Black Friday sale. I do like it, but the subwoofer is a tiny bit lackluster. The sound quality is pretty freaking good! I just wish the bass hit a little harder!
Other than that it has amazing build quality, feels solid, and sounds great!

Excellent Portable Sound

I use this in the yard for outdoor movie night. The sound produced is clear even at high volume. I did struggle with connecting it directly to the phone; once I downloaded the app, it connected easily. Connected the Chromecast and the Wi-Fi easily.

No Audio Input Jack

Very good speaker with excelent sound, however you can only use it on it's own since it has no audio input. In other words if you have the need to watch a nice movie and want to add some nice sound to it by using an the audio output from your TV, there is no way to input it to your Boombox 3 Wi-Fi.... no audio input whatsoever. To be honest at the price, I'm sure they could have included an 3.5mm audio input jack. It's rather disappointing that it's not an option or a feature.
