High End Bluetooth Speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boombox 3 is really amazing ! First it truly has that full bodied sound that a really much larger speaker has. Second I used the JBL portable app and customized the sound through equalization and it sounds incredible, the app is a very good tool to use with this speaker. Thirdly this speaker although heavy is easy to carry around with the sturdy handle provided. We used it at the pool instead of turning on our main pool bar speaker system which is JBL also. It is very portable and very loud if you turn it up but it still sounds awesome at lower volumes and provides that full punchy sound. It is waterproof and that means were taking it to the beach baby! By far this is my new best bluetooth speaker that I will use and enjoy for a very long time. The battery is strong and has held a charge for I know at least 6 hours of play. JBL did it again and hit this one out of the park excellent quality bluetooth speaker that I highly recommend!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gets your ears bleeding

I have 1st and 2nd generation JBL Extreme speakers that have been flawless. This is literally the next step up with bigger everything. First off, I was like a kid on christmas getting this thing. Packaging was good. Came wrapped in a nice white bag when getting to the speaker. Was surprised at how light it was to carry. I enjoy the charging status light bar instead of dots. Came half charged, so it was ready to go literally right out of the box. This thing cranked when I put it full blast! Had to turn it down. Connecting via bluetooth was super simple. Honestly, just touching one button on the unit and having my phone pick up on it can't get anymore straight forward. The cover for charger and usb hookups is solid, but not as tight as on my extreme speakers. I don't thing this is water rated which is probably why. Minor thing really. I am really looking forward to the use of this in the future. And i love the coloring on the JBL logo. Originally thought the new huge logos was a little gawdy, but this looks good.

Incredibly Loud Speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is quite possibly the loudest Bluetooth speaker I've ever heard. It gets booming loud, and really doesn't distort the sound. The sound quality at all levels is fantastic. I love the size and shape. It holds like an old school boombox with a modern look. The new JBL logo is sleek too. Pair these with the battery life, and this is a speaker I am always stoked have.
I listen to a wide variety of music, with rock being my go to. I started out with easy listening rock from the Eagles, and it was crystal clear. I'd ranged up to hard rock, and being just as clear, it felt like a concert in my home while just at 50% volume. I had to go outside to test it on full blast. Even then, the sound quality was good. I've never had such a loud speaker play this well, this loud.
The portability is great with it. It's sleek, and looks great. The handle on top feels is metal, and along with the rest of the unit, feels very high quality. The product's packaging is even nice. It's also waterproof and dustproof, which is a huge perk for me. I love to bring this outside, in the shop, camping, to parties, and on the lake. The versatility is great, and I can still enjoy it at home.
A huge perk for me is the battery life. It has a 24-hour battery life, this holds true. It's so convenient to have a long lasting battery in a speaker like this because when I do bring it along camping, I know it'll last the whole trip. When I bring it on the lake, it's good for the whole day, for a fire at night, and then some. When just playing at home, I charge this twice a week tops. It's nice not to have to charge a bluetooth speaker each day.
All in all, this is a great speaker. It is so incredibly loud, it's eye-catching, and the battery life is not one to let you down. I'd highly recommend this speakers to those who like to jam, are audiophiles, or simply want a great sounding speaker for any occasion.

Great sound from a boombox

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This boom box is reminiscent of the boom boxes of old but with such better sound quality and volume. So easy to connect to with my phone. And did I mention how great the sound is?? The music fills the room as if I have an entire sound system set up. Size makes it easily portable - my kids keep stealing it to take with them!

Awesome boom box with awesome bass & sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This boom box has nice sound quality that is perfect for entertaining 35 x 45 foot backyard area. Clear sound from every angle in area. Bass is crisp & specific sound sharpness for light soundong instruments whic allows for true musical entertainment. Now while it is a bit heavy, it is worth it for the experience.

My Favorite Bluetooth Speaker

The sound this speaker produce is crazy the bass is incredible, I use it when I’m taking shower,I’ll just say this my shower sessions are longer than usual it sounds so good. When placed in a small room it’s just amazing can’t believe what I be hearing. I have a SB 2 as well but I like my boom box 3 way more. This thing is a monster and I love it.

Great sound but not so great battery life

As an owner of boombox2 and 3 I can honestly, say that I’m very disappointed with the battery life on the current model. Battery last roughly 4-5 hrs on a full charge and that’s a moderate volume. Did a warranty claim on it and I was told that it could’ve been a Defect battery. Got a new one but battery still last about the same.
To the people looking to buy a boombox I would highly recommend #2. I’ve had it for three years and it’s still going strong ..
for the price JBL needs to address this issue ASAP
