95% awesome!
Battery life is great, sound is Amazing, the build quality is obvious. The only complaint is when you turn the volume up or down its annoying noise and disruptions in the music.

Caution if using outdoors

Bought this 3 months ago. Battery doesn't last long at high volumes outdoors. Easily overheats causing volume to decrease automatically.

Thanks for your feedback. The published up-to playtime is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As you turn up the volume, the playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. The same goes for source material. Music with more bass will also reduce playtime. Try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. Also, if the volume decreases only occurs as the volume is increased to loud levels, this means the unit is working by design. As the internal amplifier reaches its limits, an internal limiter engages in order to protect itself from damage. There is no way to bypass this. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

The battery won’t last 4 hours I’m it said it would last 12 to 24 hours

Thanks for your feedback on our JBL Boombox 3. The published up-to playtime is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As the volume increases, and depending on the source material, the playtime will be reduced. Please try charging your speaker to 100%, and listen to music without bass boost and at low volume. If the speaker lasts close to playtime, the battery is working fine. If you get less than 90%, it is possible there is an issue with the battery. Please contact us for further assistance.

THIS is worth every penny and I got it for a steal…..”refurbished”. I destroy speakers accidentally and this thing takes all of what I play on it and then some. Painted a house, shop and while swimming in the pool and haven’t charged it yet! If you ever raved in L.A., lived at Double Down in Vegas and love hard genres, get this little baby that punches out bass and volume that will surprise you into considering that house party at your new pad.
