Best choice I made was needing a second

I bought one Boombox 3 & found out that I loved it so much that I bought a second Boombox 3.
I tell my friends that there a bit like potato chips and you can’t just have one.

24hr is misleading. More like 2hrs if lucky.

Not 24hr charge. I recently purchased one for my husbands birthday. We have used it twice and out of those times it only plays 2hrs and then dies, completely. Sounds is amazing, great design/build. However, I am highly disappointed in how mine is not lasting on a full charge.

Volume and usage can affect the battery's life. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime. I bought the Boombox 3 several months ago and I absolutely LOVE IT. The sound quality paired with the massive bass on this thing is a beast! I highly recommend buying one for yourself if you haven’t already!

Nice sound, struggles in the sun

The sound on this speaker is big and detailed for the most part. That part is pretty awesome.
However, when sitting in the sun, the metal handle absorbs A LOT of heat. Because of this, the speaker gets really hot in the sun. And it doesn’t have to be that hot, it has happened to me in mid 70s weather. When it gets too hot, the passive radiators on the side expand like a balloon. It affects the sound quality and the bass pretty dramatically. Because of this, you’re better off using the speaker in the shade or cooler areas. Which is interesting because of all the advertising of it sitting in the sun, hmmm…
Also, I’m no engineer, but I feel like the racetrack subwoofer on the front should maybe be on the back of the speaker or something, so that the vibrations can resonate off the walls when placed in front of one? And then the tweeters probably shouldn’t be stacked directly on top of the mid speakers? Idk, just a suggestion I guess.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the sound and looks of this speaker in general. I just feel that when it comes to tech specs this speaker could be a little better with its size and space available on it. And not to mention the price…

Overwhelming thump

I really wanted to love this or even like it. If you like thumping bass, the Boombox 3 will do that. But the bass completely overwhelms the mids and highs. And what I do hear of those mids and highs doesn't sound that great. Where are those guitar solos and soaring vocals I know so well from my playlist? Buried back there under a layer of booming bass. Adjusting the EQ from the app just seems to make the mids/highs sound worse when you lower the bass. Playing mp3s with the aux cord off my laptop does sound better than streaming from a Bluetooth connection, so I'm keeping it for the party punch portability, but I grimace every time when I barely hear something I know should be on top.
