The speaker works fine, but the Bluetooth cuts out intermittently and randomly. It sounds like a cd skipping, sometimes once a day, sometimes 4 times a song. Does not fix itself after disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth, turning on/off, or even forgetting the device completely, all of which shouldn’t be a issue in the first place. This is the third jbl speaker I’ve had that’s malfunctioned on me (charge 3 blown speaker, charge 4 replacement turned off randomly after a year of use) I don’t know why I tried again and I will tell everyone I know to invest their money elsewhere when purchasing a Bluetooth speaker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the extreme 2 which is my second to use the connect feature. But it doesn’t work well it cuts sour all the time it’s not good. Individually the speakers are great now I’m stuck with a second that doesn’t work for the purpose I bought it for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was playing music on my JBL Extreme 2 and my speaker turned off all on its own. I tried to turn it on using the power button but there was no response. I plugged it into the wall and 2 out of 5 LED's lit up, proving that the speaker still had a remaining charge. The power button also illuminate white but I am not able to use any of the buttons. I can not turn it off while its charging, connect to bluetooth, or connect to another JBL speaker. Essentially, my speaker will only turn on when it is plugged in, and even after plugging it in, none of the buttons respond. Please help.
Love the speaker. Has great quality sound and it is not too big or small for my needs. Many reviews talk about not being loud enough but for the size is perfect. This is not a club size speaker.... Also remember that is wireless.....
