Great sound but won't hold charge

I bought this extreme 2 speaker in red and I the original has better bass. However, like the JBL extreme 2, didn't hold a charge. I have only had this speaker for a year and I wish they would make it to keep the charge. I have to keep it plugged in to play music. Kind of a BIG bummer. I will have to purchase another brand to take on trips to the beach.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sound is a 15/10, the size and shape is amazing I love JBL, I own some JBL headphones, small speaker, and have bought two Xtreme 2’s. I bought this speaker less than a year ago and now the power button is failing. It doesn’t want to turn on. I loved this speaker SO much I bought my best friend a matching one. It was honestly the highlight of my days coming home and turning it on. It came with me wherever I went, now I’m so extremely sad it doesn’t work. There’s nothing I’d change about this speaker and how it functioned in these months I’ve had it, the only problem is the power button stopped working which is so disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I absolutely love this speaker. Very durable. I use it in my hikes and camping. Pretty much anything out doors and I have no problem hearing it nice and loud and clear quality. The battery last through all my adventures. Amazing !!!
Did not sound like the demo version. Not a deep bass.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought xtreme 2 two weeks ago. Sound clarity is amazing. I wish it had little more bass. Because in last firmware update there is a noticeable drop in bass. Please fix this JBL.
Not as loud as other speakers of same class Took on my tube floating the river and it died. Got wet.
