Xtreme 2 Sound Doesn't Compare to Boombox

The Xtreme 2 does sound really good, but it doesn't come close to the Boombox.

Returning my Xtreme 2

Having never purchased the previous Xtreme model, I was very excited to buy version 2. It sounds great! Very balanced sound with great bass response. My biggest problem is the max volume. We bought this speaker to play outside by our pool. The volume is maxed out and it’s unfortunately not loud enough. Reading other reviews and it appears I’m not alone in my volume complaints. It’s a shame because I really wanted to like this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Sound Quality

The sound is great and have quality, very good materials.
I have the Xtreme 1 and now the Xtreme 2, the old one is louder than the new one!! This is a fail, the new one should be louder.
Im very disappointed about this, I prefer to use the old one, please do something to correct this.

extrime 2 not so cool

I thing its got + and - but more - then + yes full water proof and beter sound balance but they sed will be 50 db sound loudnes its sound in real lik 20-30

Great Speaker!!

I bought this recently and i'm very happy that i did, great sound quality, great bass too, looks really great, big plus is that it very portable, also its very good that its waterproof, very handy for pool parties and the beach, also it once started rianing while i was using it so the the fact that it was waterproof helped a lot there too.Also its very very durable, this was very good because i droped it lots of times but it still plays perfectly.The battery is awesome lasts for a looong time without having to recharge it.Definitely a big upgrade the regular Xtreme. Overall a very good speaker would DEIFINITELY recomend to anyone.

Although JBL Xtreme has a lot of good features , JBL Xtreme 2 has the best features.
