Amazing bass and sound

I was gifted the xtreme 2 for Christmas and before then I was using the clip 2. JBL in general has great speakers overall. My experience so far with the xtreme 2 is great but like most speakers that are waterproof the sound is going to be limited. If your looking for a good, loud, and portable speaker with good bass buy the xtreme. The price is very worth it but my only gripe is the clips for the lanyard scratch and makes what looks like bronze or brass dust everywhere in the crevice of the clips. Other than that this speaker has been the best for the price.

Easy to use, great sound pairing with multiple charge 4 Speaker’s was a breeze.
Wish I could use it more often... always having to hunt through my teenagers room to find it!
A auto lock or finder tone like Apple phones have would be nifty!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its almost perfect!

I purchased my xtreme 2 months after searching for the best available outdoor portable BT speaker. After watching youtube reviews i made up my mind to purchase it. It looks nice, the case is strong and durable. The sound is clear my only problem which is the biggest dissapointment is the max volume. The speaker just dont sound loud at all. I looked on the web and youtube and found that if i update to the new firmware it would increase volume which i did not think so. It did however sound really nice and clean just not as loud as i expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can’t connect my extrim 2 speaker, via jbl connect + (((to the speakers of my friends who bought speakers early with jbl connect. And on vacation and parties I’m with my new speaker, Strongly upset, I can’t listen to no music together

less bass and volume than previous model

Bigger and heavier than previous model while having less bass and less volume. Looks like you have to get the more expensive and less portable boombox if you want the volume and base now. On the positive side, the build quality is excellent and it does have good clarity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
