Features are nice, but for the money it isn’t much louder than my Charge 3. It’s nice, but I was kinda disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this speaker around 2 months ago and its very good! The bass is blowing me away. Its very loud for its size and maybe its quieter than xtreme 1 but the sound quality and lower bass frequency is recompensating it. Only issue i have that when its connected to jbl flip 4 by connect+ the flip4 is soo much distorted, like the Low Frequency mode was turned on but its not. Or only i have this issue...

Crystal Clear Sound

Sound is clear and tremendous clarity even on high volume. Bass is deep enough to really round out music. Max volume isn’t as loud as you would think given the size, but I couldhave people over, put the speaker in my backyard at full volume and have a good time

Great sound, works very well, the only down side is that the water gets trapped somewhere inside and after it needs to dry a couple of hours.

Bought a speaker of the "other" brand, which had uninspiring sound. Took that back and got the JBL Xtreme 2 and was blown away! LOUD and bassy, with excellent battery life, and so easy to use. Well done JBL.! :)
