My relationship with JBL has come to an end.

I bought my speaker about 10 months ago and today all of a sudden the speaker won't charge, won't turn on after the battery drained to empty. Now I just have a dead speaker and a dead relationship with JBL after my Charge 3 suddenly died on me in similarly dubious circumstances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please try to use a different adapter or cable to charge the speaker. Please check the charging pins if it is loose. The LED lights should be blinking to indicate it's charging. If you need more help, please reach out to our Customer Support and we'll check your other options.

Powerful sound

I bought a charge 4 over a year ago. People were amaze by the sound and the features on it. My goddaughter ask me for my jbl charge 4 for college and I told her no that I'd buy her one. Did my research and but the extreme 2 for myself. Best money well spend.

Boomy midbass heavy, can't connect to app

If you switch from computer or phone to this speaker, the lack of treble is painfully obvious. I can't connect to the JBL app. I was hoping to find an equalizer.

Thanks for the feedback. We don't have an equalizer for the JBL Connect App. You can rename the Bluetooth, pair Connect + speakers, check the battery level, and update the firmware using our app. You may try to use any third-party application for the equalizer but do so with caution as it could affect the sound quality. To make the most out of your music listening experience, we recommend that the settings will be in default.

Worth every penny!

I bought this for my backyard when I entertain and I’m so glad I did. My Nephew recommended it and he was so right! The sound is loud and clear!! Worth it!

Neat sound device!

I bought this along with a couple of the Flip 5's for my two sons. While the Flip 5 has awesome sound for its size, I'm glad I got the Extreme 2 for me. I'm certainly not a sound system/speaker connoisseur, I feel the sound is truly awesome and its extremely easy to use. Not sorry I bought it!

“Waterproof” Failure

i’ve had the jbl xtreme 2 for a while now and it just recently went into the pool for maybe 5 seconds before i took it out and it started making a clicking sound and i put it inside to dry and got all the water out and now it will not turn on. i have tried all of the trouble shooting for it and leaving it on the charger and nothing happens. i was very pleased with this speaker until last night, not that happy with this brand right now.

Great Speaker but dissapointed

So apparently this is JBL Extreme '2', is bigger and heavier ONLY to sound less louder than Extreme 1? Where's the logic really? More money for a bigger speaker that sounds less louder than its cheaper predecessor? Disappointing, there's just not logic to that
