I bought my Extreme 2 about a month ago.. I've used it at the beach a few times since, and it has great sound quality. Would definitely buy one of these again!

Bought this speaker for the boat and we found the sweet spot location to put it and the sound is amazing! Great bass response, good midrange and clear treble. This unit fills the whole boat better than a full stereo from the factory. 5 stars for this speaker.

My wife and I got an Extreme 2 speaker. Really enjoyed it. Love the weatherproof design, portability, bluetooth and wired sound capabilities. Great sound - the total package!
But, it just stopped working after almost 2 years of owning it. It won't turn on at all.
Maybe you should warn potential customers that these things may not work in the future?

Comprei este excelente modelo na fnac em Portugal há um ano, na semana passada não consegui ligar a coluna devido a cualquer defeito que possa ter pois trata-se da versão GG, pelo que já li é um modelo com menos poder de som, não importa, não deixa de ser excelente, tanto ao ar livre que apresenta um som perfeitamente perceptível, como dentro de casa, principalmente de noite onde o volume mais baixo tem a mesma cualidade do volume mais alto. No entanto, ainda dentro da garantia a loja fnac disse que é provável não ter arranjo e querem devolver-me o dinheiro que paguei por ela sugerindo-me outra marca de coluna, senti-me insultado com a sugestão, pois eu não procurei a loja mas sim um equipamento de som JBL mais em conta para o tamanho da minha carteira tal como os outros sete que possuo, cuatro deles com mais de vinte anos sem cualquer tipo de avaria. A triste situação não é a avaria, mas sim terem-me dado a entender que aquele tipo de equipamento tem a possibilidade de não ter solução de reparo. Da forma que eu conheço a cualidade da JBL, foi para mim um insulto darem a entender que a escolha que fiz em relação à escolha e aquisição deste equipamento foi duvidosa. Naturalmente posso estar errado, mas cuanto a mim a loja fnac não tem competência para a comercialização da marca JBL. Entretanto já preparei o livro de reclamações online a aguardar que a loja fnac me dê uma resposta negativa.
