very disappointed with my purchased speaker lack of bass not loud enough there is no difference between my old link 20 and JBL extreme 2 I know JBL make great products this one by far is the worse

We have lots of systems from wet sounds in the boat , studio towers Polk deck system Our job systems always are great However this speaker is wonderful.
The speaker has a very crisp sound at high volumes because it balances the bass instead of letting it overtake. I bought the refurbished version for extra savings!
My experience is based on using the speaker before updating to firmware 2.6.0. The speaker sounds great but cuts out at random intervals. I primarily use the speaker via aux cable while connected to my computer. It has good sound but the sound cutting out constantly while using the speaker is a nuisance.

This brief review is for JBL Extreme 2. This bluetooth speaker is not behind with others in terms of audio quality. Planning to get another one for stereo sound effect. Highly recommend to anybody who needs one.
