This is out second speaker. My husband lost our first one at the airport and I almost cried! I love this speaker. It is super loud and convenient. The sound quality is great and durable.
This came in and was maybe a little larger than I wanted but once I played it I knew I was keeping it. The sound quality is amazing, the ruggedness it promises is yet but to tested but I don't have many doubts. Etsy has some nice accessories like 3D printed speaker guards which makes me feel better about tossing it in a bag /luggage.
I love my new speaker. It’s not annoying loud. It’s perfect sounding espacially when you connect more than 2 together. Rich clean sound. Sony is just plain annoying. Bose ehh they’re boring to look at. ION it’s so unbalanced bass trashes the mids and distorts. I would recommend the extreme 2 over the extreme 3, you can’t answer your phone because there’s no mic.
Party mode is awful, very disappointed :( Bought 2 Xtremes for my restaurant to have music inside and outside and they both skip constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Xtreme 2 for just over a year now. And the power button won't work and it will turn on eventually after clicking the power button multiple times sometimes up to 50 clicks before if finally powers on. I also have a friend that has had his for 2 years and his battery is shot and it won't hold a charge. The sound quality is by far the best out there, but the build and electronics part of it is sub par. My options are to replace it (which it now cost $100 more than when I bought it) or to have a repair service fix it for the cost of a new one. Really wish it'd last longer than 13 months.
