Yes is worth the extra for pro, battery life getting 5 days. So many watch faces and apps make this a winner. Very bright and crisp face to look at. The extra protection pro offers from accidental damage makes this solid pick. Setup was very easy few clicks all done. Just love using google assistance and wallet very convenient.

Adonized Bezel has insufficient protection

After 26 days watch edge that used to be a rotating bezel, looked like those old costco torches where they started off looking black and shiny and ended up with bare metal scratches all over the edge where your watch touches the desk. No I'm not a builder just a 67 year old retiree. Rest was an improvement. Big corporation yet nobody worked out the edge paint isn't strong enough or should be rubber. 2022 groan.

Samsung watch5 pro. battery died one day if i left Wifi on and didn't use it much. I like the look but my first smart watch.. need to purchase many add on options and subscriptions. most i get it 2 days and then at 30% battery. i may not keep it. have a samsung cell it compliments. volume to talk on watch should be higher. cannot hear in outside environment. display is nice and color too. ill think about keeping or returning .. undecided.. strap feels comfortable. no 110v adapter to plug in the USB C cable.. considering cost of watch should come with one..

I had a Samsung Gear 3 for a number of years and waited until Samsung introduced a watch with ECG capability. But this little device is amazing: heart rate, blood pressure, atrial fibrillation detector, step counting, sleep monitoring, customizable watch faces, long battery life, GPS, photos, improved wrist band and all the normal functions you would expect from a smart watch. As I left the BestBuy store, a staff member said, "You're going to love that watch!" She was right!

This is a very nice watch however the battery life is nowhere as good as they say. You pretty much have to turn off all functions to get 3 days. The watch had a few upgrades from the 4 however it's definitely not worth the price.

Most of sensors not working without Samsung phone

Unfortunately, this watch has very limited functionality without a Samsung phone. Most functions are not available if you have any other brand of Android smartphone. This is unusual for me to coerce users into one brand. NO MORE Samsung

First smart watch

I purchased the bluetooth model watch5 pro because you need a plan to support LTE version and my provider did not allow same number as cell otherwise I would have but not necessary as your watch will accept call if your phone is nearby, I use this for fitness tracking and it gives accurate heart rates and blood pressure readings when calibrated by going to a pharmacy that has a machine to check and your watch and phone will give instructions to go by . It can measure blood oxygen but i haven't successfully done that yet. Google assistant and Google home allows me to operate smart lights automatically and talk to send text. It's like an extension of your cell phone. Haven't tried the unit in water yet but understand you must turn on water lock function first before entering and its good for 30 minutes but not for diving. GPS will give speed and time to destination, love the compass, so much to learn and use. A bit pricey but overall worth the extra money. batery level so far is 48 hrs and still 54%. You can use the cable from box to attach to cell phone in order to charge the watch , no need to purchase adapter, just make sure your phone is charged then charge your watch

Disappointing Battery Life

I wanted to upgrade from my Galaxy 3 to the 5 Pro based on claims of improved battery life. I found that these claims (in my experience) didn't hold true and that my Galaxy 3 in powersave mode lasted almost as long as the 5 Pro.
In my opinion both are incredible watches, but for almost $500 I didn't see any increased personal value for the money spent.
