If you loved the first Samsung watches then you will love the pro 5. It is so light weight i do not realize i have it on. New and improved features make it worth the purchase.
Great battery life. It last 2 days when always on is selected. I'd looked at the new Galaxy 6 watches and selected this watch because of the better battery set up.
I do get why people prefer the physical bezel on the newer Galaxy 6 watch vs. the Galaxy 5 Pro on screen bezel. The on screen bezel is usable but not my first choice for changing screens. The physical bezel is easier to use and more accurate when looking for a particular screen or app. (Still prefer battery life over physical bezel)
It's my first smart watch and I'm completely satisfied. The communications between my Samsung phone and watch is amazing. They sync up beautifully. The apps run well with little or no lag. Plenty of useful apps you can choose from to meet your needs. It does come with the traditional Samsung bloat ware eating up memory. Although, I haven't noticed a memory problem yet. Will see after loading some music.
I do like the Samsung sleep analysis and health apps that can be used on your phone a watch. It's helping track workouts, sleep habits, and other key health indicators. I find that the heart bpm is usually within 1 or 2 bpm as my blood pressure machine measurements.
I'll most likely upgrade to the next Samsung Galaxy Pro when it comes out if they add the physical bezel and maintain the battery life quality my current watch demonstrates. If they don't I'm plenty happy with my Galaxy 5 Pro.
